Winter waited until night to explain his plan but first he needed a team, he got Moon, Qibli and Kinkajou to agree quickly but Turtle was very reluctant until Winter added Peril to the team because she was probably the most likely dragon to protect them and not for. As they all gathered in the woods outside jade mountain Winter began to explain his plan "Ok, we all know about how everyone is afraid of Queen Heart." Everyone shoke their heads as he continued "Ok, I have a plan, we need to convince the Mothwings and rebelling bloodwings to work together to defeat Queen Heart." Qibli looked at Winter and said "Easier said then done, they hate each other." Moon looked up and said "I think we can convince them on the one thing they both care about, Blood." Winter was surprised Moon was the one to suggest that but it made sense, Peril suddenly spoke up "We could just go and kill her, we have a mind reader and firescale, me, which is more then enough for most." Turtle quietly said "Um... I don't think we would stand a chance if a bunch of Bloodwings didn't stand a chance against just her..." Winter shoke his head and said "Yeah, we need help if we're gonna kill Queen Heart and protect the Bloodwings and Mothwings." Kinkajou suddenly said "I hope that we don't have to worry about anyone dying like when we fought Darkstalker." Winter jumped at the mention of the deadly half nightwing half icewing that was easily defeated by Blood. Peril then said "Why don't we ask Blood to defeat her, I mean he easily defeated Darkstalker all on his own." Winter was about to say something when Qibli beat him to it "Well he did, but he can't access his power at will and even when he can it hurts him." Peril said "oh... I was unaware he was unable to use his power at will." Winter and everyone agreed on the plan to use Blood as a point to get the rebels and Mothwings to team up against Queen Heart.

Winter woke up early as he quickly went to Blood and Turtle's room, he woke up Blood who was pleased to see him but not as pleased about being awakened. Winter quickly said "I have a plan and it involes you, we need to unite the rebels and Mothwings against Queen Heart." Blood sighed "It's not just Queen Heart it is also King Vein that causes problems." Winter looked at Blood and said "Blood, the rebels and Mothwings together will be able to easily defeat them together, please trust me." Blood looked up at Winter and said "Winter you were my first friend, I know that this might fail but I trust you so I will help you, what do I need to do?" Winter looked at the small dragonet and said "You need to just suggest the idea of an alliance to defeat their enemies, like a the enemy of my enemy is my friend scenario." Blood while his head and said "I will do whatever is needed to defeat Queen Heart and King Vein." Winter smiled and said "This is a battle that you don't need to fight, they won't let you get hurt, they all care for you." Blood smiled gently and said "I know, and I hope they don't get hurt by this plan." Winter promised that it wouldn't as he headed toward his room to cuddle up to Qibli until they had to wake up, it was a nice and peaceful thing.
