Winter cuddled up to Qibli as he slept in his bed. Winter hated living in the sandwing palace but Qibli and their Dragonets preferred it to the icewing kingdom. Winter got up and stretched as he went out to check on Summer and Mistral, his and Qibli's Dragonets, they were both asleep. Winter looked down at his daughter and son and couldn't help but feel happy, Mistral was a smart dragonet for someone his age and Summer was headstrong but also loyal and kind. Winter slowly left the room and headed back to Qibli at his room.

Winter had discussed it with Qibli and Queen Thorn and they decided that both Summer and Mistral should go to Jade mountain just as they had. Qibli and Winter walked up to Mistral and Summer and Qibli said "Hey, how are my snowflakes?" Mistral smile and said "We're doing great dad!" Summer looked at her parents and asked "What's up?" Winter quickly replied "We got good news, your both going to Jade Mountain." Summer was excited but Mistral tensed up, he was outgoing but shy, Qibli tried to comfort him and said "Don't worry, we we're all worried when we first went to Jade Mountain, right Winter?" Winter replied "Yeah, don't worry, you'll make friends, just like us." Mistral smiled a bit as he said "ok dads, I'll try."
