Chapter 7: Emerald Venom

Jungkook's POV

I was grinning all the way back to the Waxing Crescent Moon. First, because Taehyung and I kissed. His lips were so soft against mine. I will never ever get enough of his honeyed lips and the way he kissed me back so deeply and passionately. And his moans, it was the most beautiful sound to ever grace my ears. I would give anything in the world to hear those sound again. Second, because he said he loves me back. I had never thought he would say those words this soon but he opened up his feelings for me and that made my love for him grew thousand times more. And lastly, he was in the passenger seat, going back to Waxing Crescent Moon with me. I was finally taking him home. 

After our amazing date, I asked him to come back with me. There was no way I was going to let him stay away from me anymore. At first he was silent. Goddess knows what was in his mind, but he agreed in the end.

We talked a bit about ourselves and the pack while we were by the lake. From now on, he would run the whole of Alpha Walkers with me with him being my mate. And as per his request he would still be the Alpha of Full Moon as before. Whatever makes him happy. But as previously plan, Full Moon will be taken care of from afar.

"What are you smiling at?" Taehyung asked me while he himself was smiling.
"Give me a reason why I shouldn't smile now." I replied taking his hand and holding it. He shook his head and turned his face towards the road and I did the same.

When we finally reached the Crescent Moon I pulled the car in front of  the pack house. I helped him out of the vehicle.
"You know I can do that myself." He protested pointing at the car door.

"Ofcourse you can, but I want to do it for you." I answered. He smiled and looked down trying to hide his red cheeks. Goddess how much I wished I could pin him down on my bed right then.
"Welcome home." I said and he nodded, his cheeks still red. He turned towards the pack house and his smile faded. And I know exactly why.

I stepped closer to him taking his hand.
"Taehyung..I.."

"I am fine." He cut me off. I could see the hurt in his eyes. And at that moment I knew, Taehyung wasn't heal yet after what happened on the night of the full moon. Even if he told me it was nobody's fault but deep inside he was hurt. I promised to give him so much love and  set my goal to make him forget that night.

"Umm.. Come on, let's get inside."

'Alpha we might have a possible attack this moment at the south border.' Yoongi hyung voice rang in my head alarming me.

"Sh*t! We could be under attack right now at the south. Stay here." I told Taehyung and was about to shift.

"Wait! I am coming with you." Taehyung's whole demeanour changed, his alpha surfacing.

"No!"

"Remember it's my responsibilities to protect the pack too?" Taehyung argued frowning at me. I sighed, I wanted him to be safe but there was no point to argue with him at this point.

"Okay let's go!"

Wasting no time we both shifted to our wolves. I took a moment to look at my beautiful mate's wolf for the first time. His wolf was slightly smaller than mine but his fur was black just as mine. The only difference was our eyes. His eyes were aqua blue unlike my red one, may be because he was an omega too. He was so beautiful. It was unfortunate that I had to see his wolf for the first time under this circumstances. I kept in mind to have a run with him in few days.

'You are beautiful.' I mindlinked my mate and he barked pointing his head towards the south. He wanted me to focus at the situation we had in hand. 'What's the problem in taking a few seconds to praise my beautiful mate.' I linked again. I could tell by his gaze that he was fascinated seeing my wolf too. He might already seen my wolf before but this was the first after we were mates.
