Chapter 8: Lex

Jungkook's POV.

It was almost noon when I woke up. I smiled when I found Taehyung still snuggled into me and in deep sleep. I check his temperature touching his forehead and he was warm. He looked so much better too, his skin had a radiant glow unlike his pale one earlier.

I couldn't sleep the whole night seeing how pale he was and lying unconscious on the bed. I kept pacing up and down in my room thinking what possibly I could have done to avoid him from getting poisoned. Guilt was eating me up for not able to protect my mate and also for all the wrong things I did to him. I was the worst mate.

When he regain his consciousness at dawn after being passed out for so long, I was so happy, I was so happy that I couldn't control my tears. And when he cupped my face, I saw the love and care in those eyes of him and I couldn't help but broke down.

He, he even took care of me when he himself wasn't well. The last thing I remember was us kissing before I drifted off to sleep. Goddess he's too good for me, a perfect mate anyone can ask for. His every action and every word made me fell harder and harder for him.

Looking back down at my mate it seemed he wouldn't wake up anytime soon, so I did what I had started loving to do in the recent days and that was to watch my mate while he sleeps. I looked through every single features on his face and once my eyes landed on his lips, I couldn't look away anywhere further. Not able to resist, I leaned down and stole a kiss. When I pulled away my breath hissed and my eyes widened not because his eyes were opened but because they were blue.

I was so nervous and didn't know what to do.
"Hey!" I softly called not wanting to scare him away.

"My Alpha!" He whispered. F*ck!

"I..I am Lex." He continued shyly and I froze. Oh goddess! Taehyung was shy but this one was thousand times more shy. And his whole features looked different, he looked more soft than Taehyung already was. His skin tone and even his hair looked different. How was this even possible?

"You are so beautiful Lex." I remarked and goddess he turned red instantly. I had never seen anyone changing colour this fast. Much be an omega thing.

Now JK was aware of Lex's presence and he was f*cking scratching on my mind to let out. I pushed him on the back of my mind. I don't know what he would do if he gets out.

"How is Taehyung and.. and uh...?"

"V?" He asked.

'So my alpha mate's name is V.' I thought to myself.

"Yes V." I answered nodding.

"V is still sleeping and..and Taehyung too. I tried to wake them up when I felt you awake, but.. but they didn't hear me." He explained while his eyes shyly stole a glance at me.

"You normally don't come out often, do you?" I asked.

"Taehyung and V are very protective of me. They like to keep me hidden." He answered while playing with his fingers.

"Hmm.. I would do the same. You are so precious, I wouldn't want anyone to lay an eye on you." I commented and he turned more red.

"My Alpha?"
F*ck f*ck f*ck. Goddess I will never get enough of him calling me that.

"Yes my love." I answered controlling my emotion and his face lit up hearing the nickname.

"Can..can you kiss me again?" I gasped. So he felt the kiss earlier too.

"Of..ofcourse my love." F*ck I was stuttering. My omega was making me weak and how can I say no to that pleading eyes. So I closed the space between us and connected our lips. He kissed me back right away but the kiss was sloppy.
