Warrior cats: Ivypool: a hard choice

Chapter 10

We stoped at this Cliff. I looked down to see what was at the bottom.
There were cats. So many cats. At least as many as there is of cats all around the lake territory's.
Ok, maybe not that manny, but it it pretty close to that.
The was a way down, so I followed Hawkfrost and Tigerstar down there. The way down was grassy, just like the rest of the territory.
The was a stone wall at the back. At the bottom of the stone wall was a huge part of stone ground. Around the stone ground, we're all the cats, just sitting, as though waiting for something.
Hawkfrost, and Tigerstar went onto the stone ground, signaling for me to follow.
The clearing was silent. Not a sound was heard.
The three of us faced the cats, and Tigerstar spoke.
"Greetings, fellow warriors! This, is Hawkfrost's apprentice, and your new clanmate, Ivypaw."
The cats all stared at me, giving me smiles, and nods of their heads.
Hawkfrost had asked me a while ago if I would like to be his night apprentice. Meaning when I go to sleep at night, I would met him, and he would teach me all sorts of stuff that my real mentor couldn't. I had agreed.
"How has she been doing with her training so far, Hawkfrost?" Tigerstar asked Hawkfrost.
"Good."
"Is she ready for the darkforest responsibilities?"
"Yes."
"Is she ready to know the truth?"
"Not yet."
What truth?
"Is she ready to know the rules?"
"Of course."
"Should she start to learn now, or save it until next time?"
"Next time."
"Should we introduce her to some cats?"
"Yes."
"Should we introduce her now or next time?"
"Both."
"What cats shall we introduce her to today?"
"Brokenstar...Mappleshade....and Ashfur."
"Okay. Step forward those of you that were named."
A spotted she cat steppe forward along with a grey furd Tom.
The spotted she-cat must be Mappleshade.
"Ivypaw, this is Mappleshade. She was the first to be allied with us. Treat her with all your greatest respect."
"Of course, Tigerstar."
"This is Ashfur. He is the most clever and skilled warrior we have. Treat him with all your greatest respect."
"Of course, Tigerstar."
I dipped my head to the two cats, and they did the same back.
A cat stepped out of the shadows. He was a dark striped tabby tom just like Tigerstar.
That must be Brokenstar, the other leader.
"This is Brokenstar. He is the other leader. You will treat him with the same respect you would with me."
"Of course, Tigerstar!"
The dark striped tabby tom stood beside Tigerstar now, and he dipped his head to me. I did the same back.
"I hope you have the best of times here." He said to me.
"I will!"
"Are you excited?" He asked me.
"About what?"
"Getting to train and learn here, of course!"
"Yes!"
"Good. I'm excited myself to see just what you can do."
I felt so proud to be here. Nothing could bring me down.
I trust these cats with my life. And I hate Dovepaw. I don't want her around anymore. I think these cats can help me.
