Chapter 28 - Don't Speak

RIZA'S POV

I'd found myself again sitting alone in a bench here in the side of the street waiting and hoping that I could see that young boy Bernard Byrne in his teenage years now. If one person caught me always sitting here I don't care! if they think I'm crazy? Then it doesn't really matters at all. All I want is just to see him again for a long time talk to him and checked if he's okay or not? or he need someone to help him in his Mathematics subject and a friend that can really rely on. I was on a deep sigh when someone poke my back. When I turn to face him it was Nicky Byrne my ultimate crush. Gush! why he's here? what's on his mind goin in this lonely place?. He smiled at me that made me back in my floating mind. I sigh in relief as I back to my poise. I smiled at him in response.

"Can, I sit beside you Riza?!"he asked.

"Yeah, sure Nico. ."I said as I'm avoiding his eyes coz I felt like blushing I was so shy on it.

"Uhmm. .it seems you don't like my presence over here. .hmm. I think I'm goin somewhere else. ."he said in a distress tone.

"Huh? nope. .it's okay.  .it's fine. ".if you only know the truth Nico. .that I'm complete when you're around. .and how I admired you that much. ."I thought while taking a glance at him.

"But anyway*taking a deep sigh*what brought you here? it seems that you'll have something or someone to wait outta here? aren't you?"he asked me as if he knows what this place mean to me.

"Uhmm...honestly, this place made me realized that love and friendship is truly exist . ."I respond out of nowhere without thinking what he was thinking over me. I don't even know why I'm telling these things to him. If he think that I'm stupid and crazy? and I don't really care. The important is I reveal what's the real me.

"Wow! that sounds so good! Riza! me too. .I'm just new in this lonely place.  .but I don't know what happened why I'm here it seems that I'm going to discovered those things over here. ."he said while grinning at me.

"Thank you Nico. .it's appreciated much. ."I smiled at him hoping that I'm not blushing or else I maybe trapped by shyness. Oh! my gush I hope it's not.

"You're welcome.  .Riza. .but anyway if you don't mind.  .may I know what makes you feel that you treasure this place a lot?"he asked hoping that I utter any confession of his question.

"Uhmm. .it's okay. .Nico...Uhmm. .to tell you the full story. .when I was 6 years old. .I meet a young handsome boy in his 7 I think.  .we bumped each other as we're both busy in our world. .he's reading book while walking towards me and I'm busy talking and playing in my stuff toy towards him that made us bumped to each others body. .to make the story short as a payment of my foolishness on bumping him. .we seated in this bench where we was seated now and he asked if it's okay if the payment is to help him to his Mathematics assignment so guess what I did? I help him coz I'm good in Mathematics coz to tell you Nico my mom is kinda genius in terms of Mathematics subject maybe I catch a lot of genes to her so I'm good to it. .back to the story, yes! I help him to it. .and after that he thank me a lot because his assignment was done. .he asked my name and then I asked him too he told me that he was Bernard Byrne before he wave goodbye to me. .since that happened I'm not seeing him again. .I don't know where is him now. .honestly, since I met him I feel that I was loved and treasured unlike to my own mom she didn't give any time to be with us. .and since that time happened I always dropped by in this place.  .hoping that I see an image of him but--he cut off my words and suddenly hugged me tight that I don't know what happened to him why he do this.

"Riza. .I am that young boy you met. .I'm Bernard Byrne. .actually, my real name is Nicholas Bernard James Adam McGarry Byrne Jr. .my nickname that I told you before that's used to be called by my cousins. .now I really know why I'm here. .you know Riza I miss that moment.  .coz that time is the first time I got a perfect score in our Math subject. ."I was surprised by his confession I don't know what to feel right now.
