Chapter 38 - Be Mine

NICKY'S POV

This is the time I'm waiting for I will propose to Michelle to be her groom when we both walk down the aisle sooner. I know this is too fast but I need to be committed with her before she leave me. No! No! No! she'll never leave me! I shook my head to that thoughts coz I don't like it! and I don't want to think about it! it makes me cried in hurt and frustration. I will be missing her that I don't really want to happened! Damn! Why of all people she'll need to suffer to this f***k!!!! disease! and what worse she just live only in one and half years! My God! I don't want to see her suffer like this. .I cried as I filled with that thoughts.

"Oh, what happened to you Nicky? it seems you're in bad taste today? you should be happy lad because you're proposing to Michelle now. ."said Shane as he pathetically rub Nicky's back.

"I don't know Shaney...I can't fool myself.  .to fake the truth that she's not dying and stay with me forever. .I love her a lot. .more than anything else...Shaney. .tell me how can I erased the fact that she'll leave me and never come back? it's hard to accept Shaney! it's hard!"I said to myself as I punch the pavement without thinking the feeling that I'll be hurt.

"Sssshh. .don't think so much out of it Nicky. .just think about your happiness in the remaining chance of her life. just show to her that you love her much. ."Shane said wearily to Nicky.

"Shaney. .I just can't help it. .it just that I can't accept it! Bullshit!"I said promiscuously as I punch the pavement once again. Shane just remain nonchalant and quiet as if he's thinking in what way I will be remain calm and positive. He's my very bestfriend in Westlife for a long time. He already know how to make me calm and alive if I've a problem but now he's puzzled he didn't even know how to make me calm and positive. I know he give all efforts just to make me positive in life. But what can I do if I myself can't respond to that positiveness he will craving with? it's worthless coz this situation is different. It's my loss indeed. The love of my life will leave me one year and half from now and that the hardest thing to do. Then a knock on the door makes me back to reality. Shane went to unlocked it then Mark appeared with a smile.

"The girl we've been waiting for is here. .!"Mark exclaimed with gladness as I hurriedly went out in my room while they're following me. I saw Michelle seating in the couch wearing a large scarf over her head with a gloomy but pretty eyes. I saw the loneliness and acceptance in her face. She tried to be strong for me. So, hurriedly hug her tight.

"You know Michelle.  .he's longing for you. ."Brian said in a melancholic tone but I hear Argiele nudge him as a hint of warn as if he will back off his words he utter.

"Psh. .Nicholas.  .please don't act like this as if is the end of the world. .c'mon cheer up! just look at me I'm happy and I think that all of you should do it. .my God! don't make me die alive here. .guys okay?"Michelle enthusiastically in all of us.

"Yeah. .lads Michelle is right. .we've to be positive no matter what. ."Kian cheered just to agree and lightened the pressure both of us. They just nodded silently. I release from hugging to Michelle as I kneel in front of her as I pick the box in my shirt as I pick it and put it in front of her. She's surprised.

"What do you mean by this I thought---I cut off her words as I opened the box in front of her.

"Michelle. .will you be my wife?"I smiled as I giggled within me. The lads as well as there girlfriends cheered and teased us.

"Say Yes! Mich! say yes!"Gracie, Argiele, Jodi and Susan cheered on Michelle.

"But---Mark cut off her words.

"No more buts dear! just say Yes! to Nicky!"Mark teased and encouraged Michelle. She look at me with a spark of her beautiful and charming eyes.

"Yes! Nicholas! Yes!"she happily said to me.

"True???"I fakely clarified as I cheered within me.

"Yes!"she happily repeat it.

"Wow! Thank you Michelle! you don't know how happy I am right now!"I said with gladness as I carry her in a bridal style.

"Congratulations! Mich!"they cheered at me.

"So, it deserves a celebration then!?"Brian exclaimed .

"Yes! woohooh!!!!"I cheered once again as I look.up on the happy face of my future bride and wife to be. I almost forgot all those dying things. We proceed to the banquet waiting for us. There's our both parents the lads and their girlfriends seated in the big long table to celebrate this happiest moment of our life. I don't care if soon she'll leave me the important is I committed on her and it will never break.

I almost cried while I update this chapter thinking that Michelle is leaving Nicky in the end. But I'm happy to say that Nicky is not going to be alone in the end.
