Chapter 14 - Little Past

EUMIE'S POV

After taking our breakfast. I was told to arranged our random pictures into our empty album. So, I'm heading towards our library at the attic I went upstairs with this five albums in my arms. When I went up there I was sat down in a wooden chair while unlocking the old cabinet and found some old pictures in our childhood days within school and in our family. When I'm in the midst of looking our childhood pictures I was stuck and locked in my picture with Nicholas back when we're just 7 years old. We're so very funny to recall those memories we've been through. To described this picture it was Nicholas birthday, we're eating some cakes, he pinch my nose with icing we laugh each other.
(Flashback October 9, 1985)
As I'm approaching to Nicholas house that day to celebrate his birthday.  I'm bringing some gifts for him. When I got their in front of their house. His mom opened the door and welcomed me with a smile of her face.
"Oh! Eumie you're here. .get inside darling.  .Nicholas and some of your friends were waiting for you out there. ."aunt Yvonne said to me I smiled at her then entered to their house. I see some of Nicholas friends and some of our classmates in school. Gillian his sister also my bestfriend called me when she noticed that I'm already here.
"Oh, welcome dear. .Eumie! my bestfriend.  .please join us here!"she rushed towards me then grab my arms and sat beside her. Then I approach Nicholas that's seated between Brian and Michelle .
"Happy Birthday.  .Nico. .gift for you"I said as I'm giving him my gift. He just smiled at me.
"Thanks for this Eumie. .I appreciate it a lot. ."then in my surprise he hugged me but not that long. He put my gift in the table where a lot of gifts are there. I noticed that he always stare at Michelle for the whole conversation of our friends. I felt jealous!  we eat cakes that time. When Brian noticed it. He put an icing on my cheeks.
"Wooohhh. .!!! Eumie is angry!"I'd been pissed off in Brian's teased. When I glanced at Nicholas he just laugh at me and he pinched my nose with a thick icing on it. I'm almost crying that time but I managed to smile. Without my knowing aunt Yvonne ,Nicholas mom take an image of us doing that kind of crazy thing.

I'd just smiled with that cute memories of us when we're just kids. But I wondered if he still remembered that time. I've just put the picture carefully in the album.

RIZA'S POV

I'm in my flat watching love story movie in our TV all alone in my room. Suddenly, I remembered a little sort of my childhood memories in my head on a little cute handsome boy that's still in my mind for a long time while watching this movie coz this movie talks about childhood friends that became lovers in the end. I turn off the TV and closed my eyes to recall those cute unforgettable memories of mine. I laid in my bed and closed my eyes starting to recall the cute past.
Once upon a time back when I was seven years old. I met this cute handsome boy in the street by bumping him in my surprised. I'm so damn heedless that time. I'm talking to my Teddy Bear and he was busy reading books while walking towards me and then. .
*poke!!!*
"Urgh!. .my head!"said the cute handsome boy.
"I'm so sorry. .I didn't mean to bump you sorry!"I apologize to him by looking at him.
"No. .need to worry it's fine. .next time better watch the person walking towards you .."he said while gritted with pain holding his forehead.
"Are you sure?"I said as I looked at him pathetically.
"Yeah. ."he said. ". .but hey! girl. ."he continue. I looked at him. "Yeah, what was it?"I said while smiling at him.
". .because you're bumping me. I've just want to have some favor on you. .if you don't mind. ."he said holding my hands. Oh! my gush! I was flattered!. I nodded. "Then what was it?"I asked him.
"Can you help me for this. ."he said while handing me his book. My gush! it was a solving problem in Mathematics. I hate this subject a lot. .woohhh!!! but I'm a little good of it then go! pushed! Wew!!!
"Yeah sure. .please come with me. .I will help you for this. ."I said as I convinced him to come with me under the shed of a tree that has a bench beneath on it. Then we seated as he get the pen and calculator. Guess? he amazed on me after I finally solved his assignment in Mathematics.
"Wow! thank you. ."he said happily.
"You're welcome indeed"I replied to him and smiled.
"Okay see yah next time. .I'll should go home now my family is waiting for me. .by the way I'm Bernard Byrne.  .and you?"he said while walking away from me.
"I'm Riza Featherton. .nice to meet you Bernard Byrne!"I exclaimed at him.
"Okay. .thank you then hope to see you again Riza!"he said and walked away.

Since that happened. I thought I'm going to see him again. But I get frustrated I didn't see him again I thought we're become good friends. I opened my eyes and burst a deep sigh looked at the ceiling. When will I see him again? I missed him so bad. I aroused and turn on the TV again so I will not get frustrated again recalling that memories.
