"YOU WERE AN ASS..."
---¤☆¤---
Slowly opening her eyes, the first thing to greet her was sunlight flashing in her face, making her cringe and recoil back. Letting out a small groan of pain, a sudden thought pops in her head, why was the world this bright? It was unnaturally bright for this hour. But why? Wasn't it midnight? Blinking away the sleep from her eyes, she sits up from her bed, rubbing her eyes clean of sleep. Staring at the empty space, she glances over at the window, watching as the sky swirls around. Flickering from sunrise to sunset to night.
That...That wasn't normal. Blinking a few times, she takes a minute to let her brain catch up with the rest of her. The sky was flickering like it was having a seizure. Nodding her head slowly, she takes a deep breath, letting the words process in her head. The sky was flickering like it was having a seizure! Her eyes widened, the color draining from her face. Scrambling out of her bed, she stumbles towards the window, watching the flickering sky. What the actual fuck was going on? Was this real? Or was this a⎯
"What is happening?" She whispers, panic rising in her chest.
"I can assure you, this is a dream." A voice states, "An odd one, but still a dream. The world is not ending, Natasha."
Turning away from the window, standing in the middle of her room was a girl. Looking her up and down, she looked probably somewhere around her age. Her hair was curled and down, flowing in a nonexistent wind. She was dressed in a simple white sundress. And there was an odd glow to her. But, something in the back of her head tells her something wasn't right. Holding her hand out, her knife flys back into her hand, the blade instantly flicking open as soon as it lands in her hand.
"What do you want?" Natasha states, narrowing her eyes at the girl.
"To see you." The girl states, "I didn't think you would be able to. But, you can."
"We'll know you've seen me. Now who are you? What are you doing here?" Natasha questions, raising a brow.
"Someone..." She sighs dreamily, "I can't remember who I was. But, you can. I think you can.."
Glaring down at the girl, she doesn't flinch, only tilts her head to the side. A calm, yet curious look on her face. What was her deal? Why wasn't she at least a little threatened? Or at least a little bit intimidated? Looking the girl up and down, a small twindle of sadness fills her, there's just a dead look to her. There's no life in her green orbs⎯no sparkle to it, just this lost glimmer in them.
Shifting in place, she slowly rises to her feet, keeping her back to the corner of the room. She can't attack her from behind. Or could she? If this was a dream, did normal laws of battle still apply? Ignoring her thoughts, she keeps her stance, ready to attack at any moment. Dream or not, she didn't know her and she didn't know how the dream world worked.
