My first ever story so expect it to be bad with about a million typos
16 year old Ruby finally reunites with her childhood best friend and neighbour, Lucy Bronze.

It's the next day, me and soph spent the night at Lucy and Kiera's house.
It's about 6 am when I wake up, I didn't get much sleep last night after the confusing events of yesterday evening.
When I head downstairs I notice the kitchen light is on and wonder who it could be but when I see ginger hair up in a ponytail I immediately recognise Kiera.
"Morning," I say, my voice still hoarse from only recently waking up. Kiera jumps at my sudden presence.
"Warn me next time," Kiera says laughing slightly. She puts a cup of tea in front of me, which I thank her for. It's really quiet for a long time, with no one knowing what to say.
"Look ruby, if you don't mind me asking, why did you leave Lucy?" Kiera asks. I can tell she's being careful as I have only just met the girl but she still wants to know why someone who means so much to her girlfriend just left with no explanation.
I sigh and take a deep breath, about to tell someone I just met about my life.
"When I was 11 I got extremely ill, if I'm being honest I don't remember much other than practically living in a hospital for a few years, and that pretty much every day I begged my parents to let me see Lucy."
"Why weren't you allowed to see Lucy?"
"If I'm being honest I have no clue, we moved down to London for my treatment but I don't know why I couldn't see her," I reply, this conversation is really making me think about why I was never allowed to talk to her.
"Oh," Kiera says. There's a long silence before she speaks up again. "I'm sorry ruby."
"What are you sorry for?" I question her, genuinely confused.
"I feel like I judged you before I found out the issue, I'm sorry"
"Don't worry about it, is be upset if I was in your situation too," I say calmly with a nice smile on my face. She puts her arms out for me to step into and hug her. It was nice to feel so much comfort in someone I know so little about.
"Morning ruby, morning babe," Lucy says causing me to step away from Kiera so Lucy can give her a peck on the lips.
"I best get going then, I'll let Gareth know you won't be coming to training today," Kiera states as she leaves the house.
Me and Lucy catch up a bit whilst we wait for Sophie to wake up. I decide to post on Instagram.
