My first ever story so expect it to be bad with about a million typos
16 year old Ruby finally reunites with her childhood best friend and neighbour, Lucy Bronze.
How will they meet? Will Lucy remember the young girl who she cared so much about? Wil...
The game ended in a 2-2 draw, but now I have to leave. We all went back to Lucy's house to regroup and say goodbye.
"C'mon ruby, grab your stuff we're going," Leah said from behind me. I'm going back in a car with her, Jordan and Beth.
"Yeah ok just a Minute," I reply, I haven't properly said goodbye to luce yet. I've been dreading it.
Lucy's standing in the kitchen whilst talking to Kiera and Beth so I come up behind her and hug her.
Without even looking she says "you alright rubes?" I'm guessing she could tell it was me as I'm quite short but also because she knows I've got to leave soon.
"Yeah, I've got to go now," I whisper to her, I wouldn't be surprised if she couldn't hear me. I start to get emotional at the thought of having to leave behind Lucy. Again.
"Oh ruby don't cry, love" she bends down and pulls me into another hug before kissing me on the forehead and wiping the stray tear that fell.
After I said goodbye to most of the city girls, I gave Kiera a quick hug before lucy whispered to me, "don't forget you have my number, I will always have time for you ruby. Don't be scared to come talk to me."
Nodding I give her a final hug before getting in the back of the car next to Jordan, then we start the long drive down to London.
"So what type of music do you listen to?" Leah asks from the passenger side.
"I listen to anything, to be honest, if you hit shuffle on my playlist you could be listening to Eminem one minute and the frozen soundtrack the next."
"Fair enough"
The rest of the journey was filled with weird conversations, singing and lots of laughing. When we arrived at my house I said a quick goodbye to all the girls before I got their numbers and walked inside my house.
Sighing, I collapse onto my sofa.
"RUBY YOU'RE BACK!" Sophie shouts, stopping me from nodding off.
"Soph, what's the shouting for, and how on earth did you get into my house?"
"I've literally had a key to your house forever," she says. "I missed you."
"Missed you too soph," I hug her and lay back down on the sofa.
"Ruby, I don't mean this in a bad way whatsoever but you look like you've lost some weight, are you ok?"
This really confused me, I haven't noticed any weight loss and I've been feeling fine.
"Sophie what do you mean, I haven't lost any weight"
"You just look skinnier"
"I'm fine soph stop worrying, but I think we should curl up on the sofa and order a pizza," I suggest.
"It's nearly midnight, but sure as long as you pay"
"Ok, what do you want?"
Once the pizza comes, we put on a film and get under a blanket together before we both fall asleep.
