Jamaica,
4:15 p.m.She was finally home.
Even though she was a little nervous, she wasn't gonna turn back. She missed her family and she knew how much they missed her too, especially her mother.
Speaking of, Celest and her mother relationship hasn't been the best ever since she left. Celest would hardly speak to her mother, as she wanted time for herself, none the less, she loved her mother and hoped that they could talk things out.
Her nerves were all over the place for specific reasons. Him. She wasn't ready to see Kevaun but she knew at some point, they had to cross paths. Questions ran through her mind, at the smallest thought of him. She worried he didn't want to see her... worried that he hated her.
She was afraid he didn't love her again.
A small sigh escaped her lips as the car approached to her mother's house. "You alright?" Redman asked her, resting his hand on her thigh. She moved her legs, then answered, "Ye. Thanks fi drop mi home,"
With that, she exited the car. He helped her with her suit case and bags then he left. She looked over the gate and noticed her mother wasn't outside.
Praise God
Celest walked towards the front door with her bags on her back, but before she could even knock, the door opened. She looked down at the child in front of her, confused on who's baby it was. "Hey cutie, what's your name?" She asked, kneeling down to the child's height.
"Jazzy," The baby's low voice spoke. "Ok... where's mommy?" She asked. Jazzy pointed to the back, indicating that, that was where her mother was. Celest entered the house then closed the door behind her.
Leaving her stuff behind, she lifted the baby and walked to the back of the house. "How old are you?" Celest asked as she made her way through the house.
"Four... you very pretty," The baby said and Celest smiled. "You're very pretty as wel-,"
She was cut off when someone screamed her name. Her head turned to the person's direction- it was Gabbii, her cousin. "Hey!" Celest squealed. She was happy to see her cousin, seeing that it has been a long while since they have seen one another.
Celest is caught off guard when the baby began to cry. A wahm- Her attention turned towards the man that stood behind Gabbii.
"Stop show har dat nuh... look how yuh mek she a cry," Gabbii slapped the man in his head. Celest didn't know who he was until he introduced his self-
"I'm Damani," He said. She only nodded. "Which paa mummy deh Gabbii?" She asked.
"Round a back wid uncle," Gabbii told her. Celest handed Jazzy to Gabbii before she went around the back. She spotted her parents, talking along with other people she didn't recognize.
