____________

It was now the new year and almost 5 months after the incident had happened. Everything went down hill after that, if you'd ask me. Celest went into deep depression because of what she had done. She kept having nightmares and flashbacks, everytime she would close her eyes.

She had stopped going to school after she found out that she had PTSD. She started to distance her self from everyone, even her boyfriend, Kevaun- she didn't even go outside and eventually stopped going to see her therapist. For the slightest things that would happen, triggered memories of that day.

She was tired of crying, tired of wishing she hadn't done it, tired of hearing "it's not your fault" or "everything will get better" ... she was tired of everything, and everyone. No matter how many times she'd pray and beg for her to forget what she had done, the disturbing memories rushed back to her mind.

At that point, Celest was sorry she ever met Kevaun. To her, it was his fault. She knew that she was responsible for her actions, but kept blaming it on him.

"If I haven't had met you, none of this would've happened. It's your fault".

...and no matter how hard Kevaun would try to forget about what she had said, he couldn't. Kevaun was angry, sad, guilty... The young man was broken by just seeing her that way.

They both needed a break so they did just that. Celest went away to Bahamas and Kevaun did what he'd always do to forget something- work.

The two didn't speak for at least 4 months, until she finally came back. Celest was doing good. She had became better and so she went back to the only person she wanted to see- him.

...but everything had changed in the months they had been separated.

A day before she went back to JA
3:35 p.m.
At Kevaun's house...

"Fuck diss bredda! A boh ten time e dawg kill mi ute," Letti said, raising off the couch angrily. The house is filled with their laughter as they listen to Letti argue.

"As di dawg tek a step, Don buss him skull," Brandon laughed, joining the men in the living room. Letti continued to argue and all they did was laugh. In all honesty, that moment was the first Kevaun had laugh ever since she left.

He was still very shaken up about the situation but he gave her, her space, even though he hated the fact that she wasn't close to him- worse that she no longer was in the country.

Kevaun wished she'd pull up at his house one day, so he could finally see the love of his life, but she didn't show up and the little hope he had, was gone.

"Ah watch yah nuh, come do a level wid mi," Letti said as he made his way back over to the couch. He took up the controller that Kevaun had and handed it to Brandon. "Betta yuh guh siddung yer," Brandon laughed.

"Play wid di man," Mystro spoke. They looked at him. "Dat kinda sound yyy mi dawg," Letti said, backing away from Brandon and Mystro.

Shotta and Kevaun just sat there, watching them and laughed. "Fi real bredda," Shotta lit the blunt he had, laughing.

"Baby! Baby! Ba-"

"Yo lock off nuh humbre," Kevaun shouted at Monique, his sisters friend. They had nothing- Kevaun just used her for pleasure, though he would much rather to be with his girl. "S-sorry... was just wondering if you could take me somewhere," She said, holding her head down.
