Couple Hours After The
Baby Shower/Gender Reveal

Her eyes take no second in turning away from her phone, as Lila skipped relentlessly through the pages of her notebook.
She has been laying flat on her back in the couch for over 3 hours studying and going through notes and ever since Brandon and Celest left, she hasn't moved.

Lila is determined to stay up, waiting for either or both of them to step through the door- or to at least call.
Her mind is all over the place and seeing that she has zero clue of what's happening, she continues to worry.

Pretaining to her baby, everything is going good. She's healthy and her mental is ... alright.
Seeing that she has started going back to her classes and has been doing some online businesses, her days have been hella packed for a soon-to-be mother.

She hardly gets the chance to sleep and with her experiencing contractions every now and then, makes things worse.
Lila in fact doesn't know the gender of their baby and today was the day they were gonna find out, but things didn't go as planned.

...but Lila nuh care bout that.
It's sad that she doesn't know the sex of her baby and she's almost 9 months pregnant.

She needed to know and that's exactly what she did.

Calling 'Doc. WHYTE'

"Um, good evening Doctor, Whyte. Sorry for the delay but something big came up so we had to cancel. I'm just calling to know what the gender of my baby will be because honestly, I can't wait any longer," Lila said to her, staring at her white toe nails.

"Ok, that's fine thou. I'll be right back with the results," Doc. Whyte says then seconds after, her end of the line is quiet.

Within' minutes, Doc. Whyte was back and saying to Lila that she can't be missing anymore appointments and is to be at the hospital first thing tomorrow for a checkup.

It wasn't on purpose that Lila kept missing the appointments, she just kept forgetting about them.

"...alright Lila so congratulations again and I'm honestly supper happy to tell you who your baby is gonna be .."

"she cyaa hurry up man"- Lila thought.

"Your baby is gonna be boy!" The doctor finally informed and in a matter of seconds, Lila was screaming and jumping in joy.
She hoped and prayed for a boy and her prayers were answered.

This was the happiest she has been since she found out that she was bearing a child.

Supper happy about what she just heard, she quickly thanked the Doc and rang Brandon's phone...

"You alright? Yah smile suh," Mystro said and she chuckled.
For a second, she forgot he was staying with her.

"H-hey baby... are you okay?" She asked, fidgeting with her nails.
"Yea babes, wahm to yuh? Everything gov a the house? Eat nut'n yet?"
