Let The Bidding Wars Begin!!!

(ROSE'S POV)

Girls walked out one by one in their vampire costumes, each one as individual as the person wearing it. Riley's flowing black dress looked stunning on her as she made her way onto the stage and started walking around. I regretted telling Darren not to come because I missed him. I just didn't see the point in him coming to see his girlfriend be bought by another guy who is technically her fiancé...

"And the final bachelorette for this section of the evening is Rose!" Shelly chirped from on stage as I made my way from behind the curtains.

My outfit consisted of a long black skirt that was tight fitting to my mid-thigh and then flowed outward with a train at the back of it. The slit up the side stopped just short of my underwear but was held together to the mid-thigh by some ribbon (like on the back of a corset).

The top was a little bit too low for comfort and the top was like a second skin with long sleeves. To finish the piece off was obviously your traditional high collared cape; couple with high heels and plastic fangs made me look like a traditional female vampire out o history.

Great.

I walked out and the room went silent. I didn't realise that I looked that bad to be honest... I looked at Alex who was grinning from ear to ear, with his own fangs protruding from his mouth a bit. At least someone liked my outfit!

I walked around the stage and walked off again feeling like a complete fool. If they think that was bad, wait until they see what swimwear Shelly had picked out for me...

"I hate this!" I fumed as I stormed up to Riley, who had already changed and was wearing a robe to hide her equally revealing bikini.

"You think I'm enjoying this?" Riley huffed and absently plucked a loose thread from her robe.

"What's wrong?" I asked recognising the conflict in her. I went over and hugged her tightly. "Whatever it is, we'll sort it out together." I promised and her sniff slightly.

When she looked up at me, there were tears in her eyes and I sighed. "Which one is it?" I asked calmly so she would talk to me and let me know what was wrong.

"He told me he loves me..." She spoke quietly and I couldn't understand why she would react like this about her boyfriend telling her... Ah.

"Nick told you he loved you?" I asked and she nodded and hurried her head in my shoulder. I sighed again... What can I say, it was a very sigh-worthy moment.

"But I blew it! When he was talking to me he was freaking me out so I tried to contact Blaine and Nick went sick about it! I'm not even sure if he likes me now, never mind loves me! And I have a boyfriend-" she added almost as an after thought.

She didn't want Blaine and, as much as it pained me to say, Nick was the one she'd be better off with. She loved him with all her heart, she just couldn't see it yet.

"You need to make your own mind up about who to choose, but don't go for someone who you consider 'safe'. I need to get changed but I'll see you soon." I hugged her again and headed off. "Oh-" I added when I turned around. "-Love doesn't stop because of a squabble. If someone loves someone, then they love them and always remember something: you're one of the easiest people to love because you're you and I think some people realise that too. He wouldn't be still out there if he didn't..." I turned around to walk off again.

"Rose?" Riley questioned.

"Yeah?" I looked at her and saw pity in her gaze.

"So do you still love Alex?" She asked and I exhaled slowly and realised I couldn't lie to my best friend.
