Once Bitten, Twice As Angry!!!

(RILEY'S POV)

The first sensation came in a rush of pleasure and pain combined. As his teeth sunk into the tender flesh of my neck there was an initial sting, but just as I was about to scream, what could only be known as endorphins kicked in, sending a wave of pleasure through me and making all previous thoughts fly from my head in less than a minute.

As the blood left my vein and went into his mouth as he sucked greedily, I couldn't help the new thoughts invading my mind... Him and me: together, happy and laughing joyfully with Rose and Alex opposite us, having just as much fun while looking lovingly into each others eyes.

Rose was laughing at me because of the chocolate coating my face and... That is when my brain jumped back to the present and what was actually happening to me... And who it was happening to me with!

I gathered as much of my depleted strength as I could and shoved Nick back as hard as I could... But I didn't think it through before doing it... Damn!

His teeth were wrenched from my neck as he stumbled back... But it took a chunk of my neck with it.

The pain tore a heart wrenching scream of agony from my throat and at that moment it felt as if everything had gone silent before I felt my legs buckle beneath me... Yet I never felt as if I hit the ground but then I couldn't help it... I blacked out.

(NICK'S POV)

Riley's blood running slowly down my throat was one of the most divine tastes that I had ever had the pleasure of tasting... It was sweet with an extra bite... I was so lost to the taste of her that I didn't realise that I was projecting thoughts into her head while she was receptive to them...

It was a thought of Alexander happy with Rose and me with Riley... and she was actually smiling at me because she was happy to have me at her side for eternity. The scene sent a wave of longing through me and I held Riley closer, enjoying the feel of her there way too much then what was healthy...

I felt her stirring right before she wrenched herself away... I was too stunned to move as I landed on my butt on the ground. Then the most awful and gut wrenching scream was torn from her like a hand had pulled it from her very soul.

It made my blood run cold and my heart stop completely, while lodging my breath in my throat.

As she dropped to the ground, I dove to catch her right before she could hit her head on the ground. By forcing my head from her neck when I wasn't prepared caused my teeth to rip away some of her neck.

As I looked down at the gaping wound I couldn't help but notice all the beautiful blood and the lack of it now running through her system... I could let her die and that would solve my problem without the hatred that turning her would bring me... But I couldn't stand the fact that I could see the life draining from her, causing her skin to lose its vibrant colour.

First, I had to stop the bleeding. I bit deep into the vein in my wrist and allowed my blood to flow freely into the wound, as soon as my wrist heeled, I opened it back up until there was only two healed little puncture wounds marred her beautiful skin.

Now it was time to turn her, her colour was back telling me that it was safe to start the transformation and her being out cold helps, because it's easier to do this without things being thrown at my head.

I re-opened my wrist again but as I was about to put it in her mouth to allow her to drink... Another ear splitting scream echoed near me, however, this one didn't make my heart ache from fear: it just made my ear drums ache. A lot!!!
