Snorkel Trip

Tyler is taking us on our very first snorkel trip today and we couldn't be more excited. Cameron went on and on all night about swimming with sea turtles, he basically ripped us out of bed this morning. The boys threw on their swim trunks and sandals and waited patiently for me to finish getting ready. I head into the bathroom to put my bathing suit on while Cameron eats his breakfast, distracted with cartoons on the television. As I'm trying to hook the back of my bikini top, Tyler walks into the bathroom.

"Goddamn, I am the luckiest man on the planet." He groans as his eyes travel up and down my body, paying special attention to my cleavage.

Embarrassed, I turn away and giggle shyly, "Oh stop it..."

He sneaks up behind me and lets his hands explore my chest, "Oh my god, I could just devour every bit of you, right here right now."

I almost give into him, but check the time on his watch, "We have to be there in 20 minutes."

"Good thing the GPS on my phone said it's only 7 minutes from here." He says as he starts trailing the tip of his tongue down my neck.

I try to remove his hands from my body as I say, "What about Cam?"

He removes his hands from my body and runs over to the bathroom door. He cracks it open and says, "Hey Cam, I have to help your mommy with something real quick. Finish your breakfast, okay?"

He closes the door and locks it behind him. He makes his way back over to me and unties the sides of my bikini bottoms. I gotta hand it to him, he is a very persistent man. I giggle as he positions me on the edge of the bathroom vanity.

"You just never give up, do you?" I say with a smile.

A mischievous smile spreads across his face as he gets down on his knees and throws my legs over his shoulders, "I can't help it. I'm starving..."

We finished up in record time. We grab our beach bag and head to Lahaina, where our boat is docked and waiting for us to board. We climb aboard along with 8 other passengers and the crew, and ride out into the middle of the ocean.

As the boat is driving out to the crater, the captain comes on the intercom and says, "If you folks look over to your left, you'll see a pod of spinner dolphins." The boat comes to a stop as we all watch these beautiful creatures jump out of the water and spin as fast as possible and crash back down into the water.

"Mommy, look!" Cameron shouts as he points to a couple of them.

A huge smile grows across my face, "This is incredible!"

Tyler wraps his arms around Cameron and me. He looks out into the water and says, "This is the coolest thing."

The boat lingers in that spot for another 5 minutes or so before the captain starts the boat again and drives out even further out into the ocean. We finally approach the giant crater and find a place to anchor the boat. Everybody gets their snorkel gear on and starts jumping into the water, one by one. I tighter Cameron's life jacket, and wait for Tyler to jump into the ocean first. I hand Cameron down to Ty and sit on the edge of the boat. Tyler keeps one hand on Cameron and helps me into the water with his other hand.

"Oohh, it's cold!" I shudder under my breath.

Tyler chuckles at me and helps Cameron and I over to where our group is. We put our goggles down over our eyes and look into the water. The dolphins were cool, don't get me wrong. But seeing all of these fish swarming around us is just amazing. There are so many colors, all around us. From the fish, to the coral, to the ocean water itself. Cameron keeps poking his head out of the water and shouting out each fish that he recognizes from Finding Nemo.
