"I think I like Morgan" Lana said hesitantly.
My jaw dropped. I was speechless.
"Say something!" Lana yelled.
"What made you think that you like her?" I asked her, standing up from my bed.
"I don't know! When we were on facetime earlier today, she was showing me some new dresses she had gotten. I guess she looked really nice" Lana smiled to herself.
"Oh my god, that's so cut-" I was cut off.
"Hey Brooklyn...And Lana?" Cameron popped through my door "What's going on here?"
"Lana said she li-" I was interrupted. Once again.
"We're making plans for when Morgan comes back, why are you here?" Lana asked.
"I'm always here." Cameron shrugged.
Lana turns around to face me and I glared at her. "Cameron get out." I said calmly.
"Excuse me?" He raised an eyebrow.
"I need to talk to Lana. Privately."
He left the while peaking over his shoulder.
"Why cant he know?" I crossed my arms.
"I don't want a lot of people to know about this. We have a lot chatter boxes in our school. The word gets around"
"Who would he tell? He has no other friends except us"
"That's sad.." Lana tried not to laugh.
"Cameron, You can come back in" I yelled to him behind the door.
Cameron walked back in and closed the door behind him and took a seat on my bed. "What plans have you guys made so far."
"Actually, I'm EXTREMELY busy tomorrow so it'll only be Lana and Morgan for now." I smirked at Lana. She gave me the side eye. She smiled, her look spoke "Two could play at that game".
"Yup! She's so busy tomorrow and she needs a BUNCH of help. Cameron? Why don't you help out your dearest friend." Lana smirked.
"I mean sure, I don't have anything to do" Cameron agreed
"Great!" I smiled awkwardly.
Lana knows I have NO plans tomorrow. Now I have to come up with some random ones or I'm screwed. Maybe I can ask my neighbors if they need any help around the house- Damn, Cameron IS my neighbor. So that's it, I'm screwed.
Lana's phone dinged. "It's my mom, she needs me home. I'll see you all on Monday!" Lana said as she left my room.
I sat on my bed next to Cameron, leaning my head on his shoulder (In a friend way, right?). I closed my eyes, wanting this quiet moment to last forever. Until Cam spoke up.
"Brooklyn, Can you go out with me?" Cameron asked innocently.
"Excuse me, what?" I lifted my head off his shoulder and stared at him in shock.
He reddened. "Wait, not like that. I meant like, can you go somewhere me, like as a hangout or something like that, and I know you don't have any plans tomorrow" he said, stumbling over his words.
"A hangout? Or are you asking me on a date" I teased, scooting closer to him."
"It's a hangout. Or a date if you want it to be" He mumbled the last part. But I was still able to hear him.
"Sure, It's a date!" I said smiling softly.
" Wait, for real?" He looked at me in shocked as I nodded. "Then wear something nice, I know a place." He said, Getting up from my bed and walking to the door.
How did he already just know a place?
