I'm still up.

My phone is getting spammed on all different apps, all from Cameron.

"Brooklyn please I promise I didn't cheat"

"I would never do that to you" On Messages.

"I won't hang out with Amelia ever again" On Discord

"Please Brooklyn I love you I swear" On Snapchat.

And there's more where that came from WhatsApp, Instagram DM's and even my forgotten Facebook.

I finally replied. "Cameron I'm trying to sleep. Leave me alone, It's OVER." I sent it on Discord.

After I sent that message, my phone went silent. Finally, I can sleep.

How could I ever sleep with a broken heart?

~Time Skip to the Morning~

I got absolutely no sleep last night whatsoever, I didn't care though.

I walked into my bathroom. My eyes were crusty and my hair was a mess. I look yucky.

I couldn't bare seeing my crusty face for another minute. I washed off my face and ran my fingers through my hair.

'It's time to get ready, I guess.' I thought.

~Third Person POV~

Cameron leaned on the lockers. He watched his ex-girlfriend from afar, she laughed with her two friends as if she didn't just shatter poor Cameron's heart. That made Cameron sick to his stomach.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" A boy appeared behind Cameron, making him flinch.

He was dark-skinned and tall, but still shorter than Cameron. He had dreads that acted as bangs and covered his face, you could still see his eyes though.

"Yeah, she really is" Cameron replied.

"Do you know if she's single?" The random boy asked. Cameron finally got the hint.

Cameron averted his eyes from the shorter male and looked at him with anger and jealousy. "She's min-" He cut himself off. "Yeah, she's single. We broke up yesterday. But I still like her, a lot."

"You could have said that! I'm not gon' steal your girl." The male said, playfully punching Cameron's arm.

"The names Jay by the way," He said.

"My name is Cameron," Cameron told Jay.

"Alright, Cameron. Why'd you guys break up?" Jay asked Cameron.

"I was accused of cheating on her with my ex" The expression on Cameron's face was saddened.

"Oh yeah, you dated Amelia, right? Didn't she and Morgan get into a huge fight almost 3 months ago?" Jay reminded Cameron.

"Yea, they did," Cameron said, turning back to Brooklyn.

Cameron noticed how Brooklyn kept making small glances but quickly turned back.

~Brooklyn's POV~

I felt uneasy as Cameron and a new kid next to him were staring at me intensely, and I didn't even know who the new kid was.

"Brooke, We're heading to class early. See you at lunch!" Lana and Morgan walked off.

I waved them goodbye and walk over to my own classroom.

I walked past Cameron while giving him a side glance to see him and the slightly shorter male watch me walk past.

As someone grabbed my arm, my eyes widened in surprise. Reacting quickly, I yanked my hand away and spun around to see who it was. To my relief, it was Amelia.

"Why did you end things with Cameron?" Amelia asked. "He was venting to me via text until 4 am last night."He lied to me, he said he wouldn't talk to her anymore. "You don't need to know, this is only supposed to be between us." I turned back around.

"I don't understand why you're acting mysterious and secretive. It's obvious that you're jealous because I'm with your ex-boyfriend," she said with a smug smirk.

I was taken aback when I heard about them together. I couldn't understand why he had begged me to take him back, only to end up dating her. Regardless, I didn't want to cause any drama. So, I simply said, "I'm not jealous. I wish the best for the two of you," and walked away.

I noticed a gentle chuckle coming from Amelia. It pissed me off. What should I have expected from a man who bullied me throughout my whole life? Some people just never change.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

"Wait so they're dating, again?" Morgan asked.

"Yup, I guess they have for a while," I answered.

Lana nodded her head in disappointment. I saved my tears and just sighed

"Let it out, Brooke," Lana comforted me with a gentle back rub as I leaned on her shoulder and wept.

Morgan and Lana comforted me for a moment before we all heard my door slowly creak open.

"Why the hell are you here?!" Morgan yelled.

"I need to talk to Brooke." Cameron's voice echoed through my ears,

I gasped and rose from Lana's shoulder while wiping my tears. "I don't have to talk to you. And stop barging into my house whenever you want, we aren't like that anymore. We're enemies" I asserted

"Shouldn't you be hanging out with Amelia, anyway" Lana threw in. "We don't even care. Get lost"

He then obeyed Lana's orders and left the house. Leaving me and the two other girls alone.
