I slowly fluttered my eyes open.

'What time is it?' I sat up on my bed and looked for my phone.

I reached over the bed and picked up my phone that was at the end of the bed.

'Damn, it's 11 pm. Jade must've gone home.'

I stood up from my bed and walked over to my door.

"Where are you going?"

I flinched at the sudden voice but instantly calmed down at the sight of the person. "Why are you still here? It's really late."

"I didn't want to leave you alone," Jade said.

"I'm not alone, Jade," I told him.

"I know but I'm scared for you."

"You don't have to be scared, Jade. I'll be fine. I promise" I walked up to him and cupped his cheeks. He brought his hands up and gently held my wrists.

"Alright, I trust you. Don't break that promise. Please."

"I won't. Now go home, you need your beauty rest."

Jade chuckled and grabbed his bag. "Fine. I'll go." He gave me a quick kiss on the lips. "I'll see you tomorrow, babe," He said then left.

'Holy crap. I love him so much' I smiled to myself.

~Time Skip~

Why do I still attempt to talk to my mother when she obviously hates me? It's because it's not obvious that she hates me. She's still my mother, she has to have some love for me in her heart.

Speaking of mother...

"Hi, Mother Is it okay if I stay home from school today? I have a horrible headache from yesterday."

"I couldn't care less about what the hell you do." Mother said cruelly.

"Yes, Mother. " I said and walked out of her room.

I went to my room and laid on my bed. I went on my phone and scrolled through random memes, laughing at a few.

I wanted to watch tv but the loud noises made my head hurt more. Even when I lowered the volume.

'Maybe it's just best if I just go to sleep."

~Jay's POV~

"Bruh, are you listening at all?" Cameron asked me.

"Of course I am. You just said something about uhh *snap* *snap*  whatshername"

"I was talking about a tv show but okay." Cameron eye-rolled. "Why do you look so anxious? Oh! Is it because your girlfriend isn't here today?" He teased.

"Shut up, we're not dating for your information," I informed him.

"I'm not stupid. You guys are always hanging out with each other and making out."

"First of all, we never made out. The author won't even dare to make us do anything more than kiss. Second of all, I'm worried she's not here today because of what happened yesterday. I don't think she's comfortable with me telling you that though." I told him.

"Oh, uhm. Okay."

I couldn't focus at all today in class. I was too paranoid about Amelia. She said she'll be fine but I can't get over how hurt she looked yesterday, the way she sobbed into my shirt yesterday made me want to cry with her. I don't ever want to see her in that state ever again.
