Lana, Morgan, and Cameron stayed over for a while. We all sat on the bed. We were chatting and laughing our lives away. Since there were mostly girls, Cameron stayed quiet but jumped into the conversation every few minutes.
"My parents are coming home at 10. I need to be at home at least by nine." Morgan said as she got up.
"I can walk you home" Lana perked up.
Cameron and I watched them walk downstairs together. I sighed and laid down on Cameron's chest. Listening to his heartbeat.
"You okay?" My dearest boyfriend asked me.
"I'm perfect. Want to watch a movie?" I looked up at him.
"Sure. Let's watch Toy story" He chose.

"Brooklyn, I need to go."
"But, can't you sleep over?" I whined.
"I can't. It's a school night. Plus, It's almost 11 o'clock," He got up from my bed.
I walked downstairs with Cameron. My father must've gone to bed already.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I told Cameron.
Cameron leaned down and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Of course, you will, I love you" He smiled softly.
"I love you too, Cam" I smiled cheekily.
He left my house and I went upstairs.
I sat on my bed and yawned. I thought about today, it was an amazing day that I didn't want to end. At least I get to see them all tomorrow.
~Time Skip, 2 Weeks Later~
I woke up this morning, and I sighed. Today is the day that Amelia brings herself back to school.
I shouldn't be nervous, she apologized before she left. Maybe I should forgive and forget.
I showered, brushed my teeth, and got in my uniform. I used my curling iron again, Cameron said he liked my hair in curls. Plus, I think I've gotten better at using it after seeing tutorial after tutorial.
I walked downstairs and greeted my father, "Good morning, Pops!" I yell to him, Like every other morning.
"Good morning, Honey."
I went to the kitchen and looked in the fridge. Cameron and I went out to a restaurant yesterday, I'm gonna eat my leftovers.
-------
"Alright Pops, I'm leaving. I'll see you later." I said, leaving the house and closing the door behind me.
Remember when Cameron used to catch up to me on the way to school? Yeah, now he just waits on my porch for me to get ready.
"Ready to leave?" Cameron reached his hand out, indicating for me to grab it. I nodded with a smile and grabbed his hand.
We engaged in small talk on the small walk to school. We somehow made the conversation about Amelia. "I'm not excited to see her again." Cameron's eyes rolled.
"That's not nice, Cam," I told him.
"What's not nice is what she did to you."
"But she apologized-" He cut me off.
"You forgive too easily, and that can get you seriously hurt. I don't want that to happen to you." Cameron scolded me.
He did have a point. "I guess you're right." I agreed with him.
We made it to school and walked through the double doors like every other day. We met with Lana and Morgan. Lana still hasn't asked out Morgan, not even after all the pep talks I've given her.

It's mid-class. I'm sitting next to Cameron. We're both focused on the lesson and taking notes. Everything was in line. Until someone entered the classroom.
"Welcome back, Amelia." The teacher looked at the door.
Everybody looked up at her and started murmuring.
"Isn't that the girl that got beat up last month?"
"Look! Amelia's back"
"Ha, her nose is still bruised. That Morgan girl was not playing any games"
The teacher clasped her hand together. "Alright class, we will give Amelia a warm welcome back to school." The teacher leads her to her seat.
She sat down and immediately placed her hood over her head. Trying to make herself as invisible as possible. She was embarrassed.
I looked at Cameron with a frown, I did feel really bad for her. Cameron looked back at me with his usual expression. He didn't care.
-------------
"Hey, Amelia" I went up to her.
"Oh, hey Brooke" She greeted me with a small sincere smile.
"Would you maybe want to sit with us at lunch? I was about to head to the canteen now." I asked her.
"Sure!" She perked up.
I smiled at her and let her follow me to the canteen.
I brought Amelia to the cafeteria and looked for my friend group. There they were, sitting at one of the tables towards the back of the room. I told Amelia to follow me.
"Hey, guys!" I called out enthusiastically.
"Hey Bro- Woah. No way you're letting her sit with us" Morgan blurted.
"Actually, I want to apologize for what happened last month," Amelia said.
"Apology not accepted. Now, get lost" Cameron argued.
I elbowed Cameron. "I'm so sor-" Amelia cut me off.
"No, it's fine, they're right. I really have no reason to be near you guys." She walked away from our table to her own. I sat down with my group and looked at all of them bitterly.
"For real, guys?! She's not even that bad!" I told them.
"Brooke, she went psycho on us last month, we need to earn her trust all over again," Morgan said. She wouldn't have done that if someone wouldn't have played her.
"Why do you want to be her friend again?" Cameron asked me.
"I don't know, I want to give her a second chance" I answered.
