"So, this is where you've been hiding..." Baldur sneered.

At the sound of his deep voice, my eyes flew open while I hastily rushed to sit up, splattering water about as I did so.

When my eyes finally blinked into focus, I unconsciously found myself trailing my gaze over the Orc King as he stood at the edge of the hot spring, reminding me of just how tall and massive he really was.

The firm contours of his muscular body were hard to ignore. Especially when the moonlight from the entrance of the cave shone over his grey-ish skin, creating captivating yet intricate shadows along his well-defined torso.

When my eyes dipped below his waist, I could not help but gape at his penis.

It was the first time I had ever seen him fully naked, and by Orc standards, even though he was not aroused, it was clear that it was bigger than average. The slightly ridged skin at the sides intrigued me and I was appalled by how curious I was about what it might feel like.

Orcs did not view nudity in the way humans did, so many of them came to enjoy the steaming water while being completely bare. Even within the castle itself, I often found myself staring at the naked behind of an Orc warrior–both male and female–one too many times.

Where coming to bathe in the hot springs was concerned, I was tempted to do the same, knowing that no one would care about my lack of clothing. I desperately wanted to feel the soothing water on my own naked skin, but I was still not comfortable enough to do such a thing, so I usually wore an altered knee-length dark-coloured smock with nothing on underneath.

Realising that I was staring, I quickly angled my gaze back to his face and said, "I wasn't hiding, Your Majesty."

He grunted in reply but said nothing more.

The steam from the water slowly rose and twirled upwards into the wind while we stared at each other for a few moments.

Since Orcs did not age like humans, it was often hard to tell how old they were. I knew that King Baldur was about ten years older than myself, but looking at him, I would have figured that we were the same age. I also needed to take into account that he was not a full Orc and I supposed his fae heritage had a part to play in softening some of his facial features.

Figuring that the Orc King was not going to say anything else, I cleared my throat while pushing myself up with the intention to leave. I believed that he would not want me to be near him and honestly, after this morning, I felt a bit uneasy being around him.

I could feel the material of my smock clinging to my body while I straightened up and I hated the way his bright blue eyes narrowed at the wet fabric, as though the very sight of it offended him.

"Where are you going?" Baldur asked, now walking into the water.

"I assumed that you didn't want me in your presence," I replied, remaining where I stood.

Coming right up to me, he snarled and pushed me back against the nearest wall, causing my breath to rush out of me. I ignored the slight sting I felt when my shoulder hit the smooth damp rock and I tilted my face up to look at him.

"You've got a lot of nerve, Izara!"

Not understanding, I attempted to ask, "What–"

"How dare you enter my chambers without me being present!"

Gulping, I quickly responded, "I only came to bring your dinner, Your Majesty."

"So why didn't you wait for me, as was expected of you?"
