▪️I Z A R A▪️

When I first woke up this morning, I had not expected to find myself within the confines of a shadowy hidden chamber, nestled deep within an ancient cave just a few miles south of Baldur's castle.

It all happened because of a dream I had last night.

In that dream, I had found myself in a world draped in hues of twilight, the sky a canvas of purples and pinks blending into one another, like an artist's palette. I stood on the precipice of a cliff, the ground beneath me a patchwork of moss and soft earth. The air tasted of summer rain and wildflowers, a fragrant symphony that danced with the gentle breeze.

Before me lay a path, winding through an ancient forest, its trees tall and proud, their leaves whispering secrets as they rustled in the breeze. Each step I took seemed guided by an unseen hand, leading me deeper into this ethereal realm. The sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting dappled patterns of gold upon the forest floor.

As I walked, the ground seemed to pulse beneath my feet, resonating with a quiet energy. I could hear the distant laughter of a river, its melody growing stronger with every step. It called to me, promising untold wonders.

The forest opened up to reveal a meadow, a vast expanse of wildflowers that swayed in time with the river's song. Their vibrant colours painted the landscape, a testament to nature's boundless artistry. I knelt down to touch a delicate blossom, its petals cool and smooth against my skin.

With each passing moment, the dream became more vivid, more real. I could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, the gentle tug of the wind in my hair. It was a world that seemed to exist outside the boundaries of time and space, a place of magic and wonder.

Following the call of the river, I found myself at its edge. The water flowed with a crystalline clarity, its surface reflecting the sky above like a mirror. I dipped my fingers into its cool embrace, feeling a surge of vitality course through me. It was as if the river held the very essence of life within its depths.

As I gazed into the water, I saw my reflection, but I looked slightly different. My skin had a luminescence to it, possessing a delicate translucence, resembling the soft glow of moonlight filtering through leaves and the tips of my ears were pointed. It was a version of myself that felt ancient, wise, connected to the very heart of this enchanted realm. In those eyes, I saw the echoes of generations, the wisdom of ages past.

A soft melody filled the air, carried by the wind. It was a song of serenity and belonging, a lullaby that spoke to the deepest parts of my soul. I closed my eyes and let the music wash over me, allowing it to carry me away on its gentle currents.

As suddenly as it had begun, the atmosphere soon changed. The meadow, the river, the ancient forest—all began to dissolve into fragments of light and colour. Before I knew it, I found myself standing outside of a cave.

The cavern beckoned with an air of ancient mystery, its yawning entrance framed by rugged stone formations adorned with moss and lichen. A soft, cool breeze whispered from within, carrying with it the earthy scent of moss and damp earth. The mouth of the cave seemed to pulse with an inviting energy, as if it held secrets waiting to be unearthed.

Inside, the darkness yielded to a soft, ethereal glow that emanated from luminescent fungi clinging to the walls. They cast a gentle, otherworldly light that danced and flickered, painting the cavern in shifting shades of cerulean and emerald. The air was cool and refreshing, carrying with it a subtle hum, as if the very walls resonated with some ancient power.

As I stepped further into the cave, the ground beneath my feet felt solid and reassuring, worn smooth by centuries of unseen footsteps. The walls seemed to close in, bearing witness to the countless stories that had unfolded within their embrace. The silence was profound, broken only by the soft echo of my own breath.
