"Will you stop running Nandini?" I shouted at her. Why? Well apparently madam forgot her bag at the reception when we moved out to roam. Everyone is cautious about their things but this lady I swear.
"What? Manik the bag has so many important stuff. Agar mujhe yaad nahi aata na toh pakka utha leta koi woh bag." She said entering into the hotel. She spoke to the receptionist and the receptionist gave the bag who had kept it safe. She checked the bag probably to see if everything was there in safely.
I sighed and held her hand and pulled her out. She sighed in relief.
"Mil gaya sab? Kyun pareshan hoti ho?" I asked looking around for the taxi so that we could go to famous lake.
"Haan haan, mujhe yaad nahi aata toh shayad dant hi lagate aap mujhe. Vaise woh sab chodiye, ghar se phone aaya tha but maa sounded low to me. Kuch hua hai kya?" She asked worriedly looking at me.
"I don't know Nandini. Pata chal jayega ghar jane ke baad. We have 2 more days let's just enjoy it." I opened the door of the taxi and settled inside after helping her.
Malhotra House
Vivek settled to have his breakfast along with his wife who had cooked themselves breakfast keeping in mind to not to have any food made by his mom. Neonika sighed looking at them avoid everything ok theirs.
"Ismein namak kitna dala hai tumne Sneha? Kitni baar kaha hai mujhe kam namak ka khana dene ko." Vivek scolded her making her frown.
"Ji? Namak theek hi hai. Itne salon se toh banati aa rahi hun uss time aapko kami nahi najar aayi aaj kyun? Kha lijiye, next time se dhyan rakhungi." He sighed and continued to have his food.
As soon as they finished Mr. Malhotra came in the house in a furious manner.
"Vivek! Yeh kya behuda majak hai?" He asked him, making him frown.
"Kya hua ab?"
"Kya hua? Logon ko behuda batein batane ki kya jarurat thi? Kinse kaha ki ghar ka bantwara ho raha hai? Maine bola hai tumhe Manik ko aane do. Phir baat karte hai." Vivek frowned listening him but then immediately looked at his wife and seeing her looking scared he got the idea.
"Toh kya hua? Vaise bhi main kal panchayat mein jane wala hun iss kisse ki baat karne ko. Jo sach hai vahi bataya na. Chahe ab batao ya kal baat toh ek hi hai." He said making him sigh in irritation.
"Vivek, bas kar de. Tujhe jo karna hai ghar ke andar hi karna. Ghar ki baat ghar mein hi rehne do. Bahar aise dhindhora pitne ki jarurat nahi hai. Abhi abhi Manik ki shadi huyi hai kuch toh socho." Neonika said trying to make him understand but was it of any use?
"Kyun maa? Mujhe apna hissa mere naam par chahiye. Mujhe khud ki identity banani hai. Aur Manik ki shadi se mera hissa mangne ka kya relation hai? Uska bada bhai hun main. Mera bhi haq hai iss property pe." Vivek said moving to take his bag to go office but stopped hearing his father.
"Toh pehle apni identity toh bana. Phir ghar ka hissa mang lena. Infact I'll happily give you your share of property."
"No, kal main aur aap panchayat jayenge aur yeh masla solve karenge. Mujhe koi farak nahi padta ki aap log kya sochte hai."
"Theek hai. But Manik ko aane do phir iske upar baat karte hain." His father sighed knowing he's not gonna listen to him.
"No, iske upar baat nahi hogi papa ab sidha decision liya jayega." Saying this he went out. Sneha went back to her room leaving both Neonika and Mr. Malhotra rooted at their places.
Ooty
Manan reached their destination called Ooty boat house. They wanted to experience the typical Maine Pyar Kiya movie's scene.
Nandini Pov
We exited the taxi and moved towards the entry place. There were guides here who were helping everyone.
"This place looks so beautiful." The place is surreal with people around, water, the boats, little huts, and forest. Manik tugged my hand making me look at him only to see him holding the phone for a selfie. I smiled immediately/posed for the photo.
We moved to book a boat for us along with others who were going to join us in the same boat. Well, 700 per person thats quite a lot.
We were walking the passage towards the dock where all the boats where waiting for the passengers.
We had a lot of fun on this place, first we went to the Botanical Garden and now here. Ooty is a place where you can see nature everywhere. The heavenly feeling you get here. After having fun we decided to have our lunch and back to the hotel.
I had neer dosa and Manik went for chicken chettinad. Later we just went for a stroll around our hotel. People here are helpful even though we don't understand most of their launguage.
"I was thinking of going to tea plantation. Do you want to go?" He asked looking at me, tea plantation not a bad idea. But, paise honge ki nahi. We have spent so much money already.
"Umm, no. I'm not in a mood." He frowned and looked at me making me surprise.
"Nahi jana?" I shook my head to which he asked why.
"Manik, let's just not spend more money now. Already bahut kharcha ho gaya hai. I'm sure more than 10k lag gaye honge iss tour ko. Abhi let's just save little. We'll roam somewhere here only. Anyways kal last day hoga humara. So let's just now waste money." He sighed listening me but agreed. Because he knows I'm right somewhere.
"Let me call at home." He said and tried calling at home. Nobody picked up I guess.
"Kya hua?" I asked worriedly.
"Maa papa phond nahi utha rahe. Let me try bhai." I nodded and waited for him as we had stopped near a park.
"Hello! Kahan ho sab aap? Kabse phone laga raha hun. Papa phone nahi utha rahe aur na hi maa. Sab theek hai na?" He asked sitting beside me.
"Mujhe nahi pata unhe kya hua hai. Aur vaise bhi unki yaad aa rahi ho toh unke mobile par phone kariyo. Mujhe mat karna."
"Aise kyun baat kar rahe ho bhai? Ab kya hua hai?" He asked worriedly. Is everything okay at home?
"Oh! Forgot, your father don't want to spoil your honeymoon I guess is liye bataya nahi hoga. Kal main aur papa property ka issue panchayat mein leke jane wale hai. Ho sake toh aa jana."
"Hello? Hello?" I guess he cut the call looking at him agitated makes me all worried.
"Kya hua?"
"I don't know, I mean when we left everything was fine aur achanak se property ko leke issue ho gaya hai. I need to speak to papa now. Come let's go." He held out his hand and we walked back to the hotel.
