Water splashed Lo'ak gently in the face causing him to wake up. Lo'ak looked around noticing he was still in the middle of nowhere. Lo'ak pulled himself higher on the rock before a blast of water shot in front of him. Lo'ak noticed the holes the water came from were breathing.

"Oh shit-" He looked around and noticed horns sticking out of the water. The young Na'vi stood on a great creature, he slid into the water to come face to face with the creature. Now resurfacing on the animal's fin, he took a good look at him.

"You're a Tulkun..." He mumbled. The tulkun hummed and clicked at Lo'ak.

"You saved my life, thank you." Lo'ak smiled before signing. 'Thank you.'

The Tulkun clicked once more and Lo'ak laughed a bit.

"Buddy, I have no idea what you just said."

Lo'ak and the tulkun looked at the old rusted tracker.

"They hurt you, didn't they?" Lo'ak asked. "I'll pull it out, trust me." He pulled the rod before swimming under the fin to twist the rod free.

The tulkun watched as Lo'ak freed the fin and resurfaced.

"Friends?" Lo'ak asked, signing to the tulkun. The tulkun let out chirps of happiness.

"That's right, we're friends!" Lo'ak beamed. The tulkun gently pushed Lo'ak underwater before swimming around him and offering him a fin. Lo'ak held onto the fin as the two swam.

Lo'ak let go, swimming under the great creature before noticing a fin missing and frowned.

'I'm so sorry..' He signed to the tulkun who hummed, he then grabbed the tulkun's fin as they swam peacefully.

Kalani sat on the edge of a rock near the cot, feet dipped in the water as she watched fish.

Her ears twitched when she heard movement next to her, and Jake sat down. A annoyed groan left her lips when he made himself comfortable.

She refused to look at him while he stared at her, "So what is it, baby girl?" He asked gently, but getting straight to the point.

"You miss home?" He asked.

"Yeah...but that's not it." The girl responded.

He rubbed her shoulder in a way to comfort her, "Okay, so what is it?"

"I sense her..."

"Sense who..?"

"Her- Eywa, and everytime I get closer...it's like I come up blank..Kiri says her heartbeat is greater when she's around me..so if her heartbeat is so strong, then why does it feel like she avoids me?" She asked looking at her hands.

"Kalani-"

"Please listen." Kalani silently begged. Jake nodded and remained silent.

Kalani turned towards Jake, "I apologize for my outburst earlier, it may have made me seem ungrateful, but that will never be the case." She looked Jake in the eyes.

"I am very grateful for your family, and even more so for Neytiri." She expressed her gratitude. "You both, along with Mo'at, have taught me everything I know but that doesn't change the fact that I don't know what I am and who I'm supposed to be-" Jake cut her off.
