Bad Romance

Chapter 4-The kiss that I will never forget

After he left Pete home, Vegas went back to his apartment. The first thing he did when he arrived was to check on Daw, but the girl was already sleeping. Vegas went to take a shower and then sat next to her, falling asleep as well.

Meanwhile, at Pete's home

"I'm a total imbecile! Why did I wanted to be the good cousin when I could easily reject Porsche saying I have other things to do?" was pete asking himself. He just wanted to do a kind thing for his cousin, but he came to hate his existence more than before. Was vegas really about to torture him until he will give up? Ugh, he was so stressed and exhausted and wanted to sleep.

The next day in the morning

Vegas wakes up with a smile on his face. In three days will be his girlfriend's birthday. He was so excited! But he was waiting the most to see Pete's face at the party.

He got off his bed, did his daily routine, and went downstairs to cook for Daw.  While he was cooking the rice, he heard some footsteps, which meant that his girlfriend was awake.

"Good morning, honey!" she spoke after she kissed him on the cheek. "Mmm, everything is smelling amazing!"

"Good morning, babe. Sit down, the food is served."

Both of them sat down and started eating. While they were eating, they were talking about their plans for that day. They were laughing, normal things couples do. Meanwhile, Vegas was thinking that immediately after that, he has to go to the villa to start the party preparations.
Suddenly, his phone was ringing, meaning that he had a new message. He picked up his phone and saw that the person that texted him was, surprisingly, Pete:

"Please, Vegas...Stop this party!"

The boy started smiling. How foolish was Pete! Before playing with the fire, you need to think twice.

"Too late, my friend. See you Saturday's  evening at 7PM."

After three days

"What hour did you said the party will be at?" Kim asked while he was tuning the guitar.

"At 7PM. Oh, I was about to forget, don't dress too fancy, just come dressed casual. I settled with Mongkut to do a kind of student party because Daw dislikes fancy parties" vegas said, preparing to leave. It was already 4PM, and he needed to go to the mall to pick up Daw's gift and to buy something for Pete.

"Alright, mate. See you at 7 then". They both left after greeting each other.

Drove to the mall, parked and when he left the car ran straight to the jewellery shop. When he arrived, he asked a lady for the order on the name Vegas Theerapanyakul. The lady brought him a small box cutely arranged, paid and went to a clock shop. He bought a pocket watch pretty elegant for his friend and then rushed back home. He could not wait to see Daw's and Pete's face.

When he arrived home, before entering, he left the gift in the car, hidden.  He entered the apartment and saw Daw getting ready.  The girl's hair was curled and left loose on her back, she had natural make-up, and in her hair was a small white tiara that fit perfectly among her blonde strands.

"You're gorgeous, as usual, Daw" Vegas complemented her, after which he kissed her lightly on the lips.

"I didn't expect you to come so early, my dear," said Daw, a little surprised by her lover's early arrival.  It was 5PM and he usually left at 7PM.  But today, as it was her birthday, she had told him that she would come at 6PM.

"I said to come earlier so we could spend a little more time together" smiled Vegas.

The girl giggled and hugged him tightly.  Then Vegas went to the bathroom ready to take a shower and then get dressed to go to the party.
