The sun was starting to rise over Bangkok and bring life back to the city that was dead because of the night. Many people were getting ready to go to work while some children were being driven to school by their parents. The sun's rays also entered Vegas's apartment, which was sleeping peacefully. When he felt the light on his eyes, he grunted and slowly started to wake up.

"How did I get home?" Vegas wondered. All he could remember was that Pete had given him a hard punch and then he had gone to the club. He wanted to follow him, but all he knew was that he was halfway there and had passed out.

His phone rang, meaning he received a new message. With difficulty, he got up from the bed and went to the hall, because the sound had been heard from there. When he picked up his phone, he noticed that he had several messages. Some from Daw, one from Kim, one from Atid and one from Pete. Being only interested in the last one, he opened the message out of pure curiosity.

"Where the hell are you, Vegas? If you see this message, call me or Kim right away. We delayed the bus by only two hours"

A confused frown appeared on Vegas' face. "What bus?" he thought. After a few moments, Vegas remembered.

"FUCK!"

Vegas tour. He was supposed to go on tour today. Why the hell do you drink so much? He called Kim immediately and started to prepare his bags for the concert.

"Morning, sunshine. Not that I want to pressure you, but you are a little late for the departure time. Pete barely managed to delay the departure two hours later"

"I know Kim. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have drunk so much. I don't know what happened to me. I'm leaving the house in a few minutes"

"You don't have to apologize to me, Vegas, but to Pete. As your manager you put him in a bad light"

"Know. I will talk to him on the way to Chiang Mai. See you at the bus station"

Vegas hung up without waiting for Kim's greeting. He had to hurry. Pete was going to be furious. In a few minutes, Vegas was out of his apartment and he was not running towards the bus station. In half an hour, Vegas had reached his destination. He saw Kim talking to Pete and headed towards the two. When he made eye contact with Pete, the latter punched him with all his beauty, leaving a red mark on his cheek.

"Pete, what the-"

Vegas didn't have time to say anything else, because Pete left, getting on the bus. What the hell? Kim gave him a bottle of cold water that Vegas put on his cheek to calm down the swelling that appeared on the man's cheek.

"You deserved it, man" Kim said as he helped Vegas with his bags.

"Yes, I can't deny it. I will go talk to him. thanks buddy"

Kim just nodded and went to the store to buy more snacks, and Vegas to the bus. He really needed to apologize to Pete. The fact that he was late made Pete look like a frivolous manager. When they signed a contract with the arena in Chiang Mai, Pete had given them his word of honor that at 8 pm Vegas had to go on stage, and now everything was postponed by a day. Pete was a man of his word, and what he hated most was not keeping his promises.

Vegas got on the bus and saw Pete standing in the middle seat of the car, with his headphones in his ears and his eyes down, reading a book. He slowly walked towards it, and when he arrived, he gently grabbed Pete's shoulder, making him look up. When Pete's eyes met Vegas's, he started to get angrier. He removed his headphones from his ears, signaling Vegas to say what he wanted.

"Pete, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't want all this to happen. I drank too much last night and lost track of time"

"You've lost track of time, huh? Then why did you get drunk? Because you wanted to fuck me again and the next day blame the drink? Play it at another table, Vegas"
