"Well, we got to find a way down... right?" He replied with a small and sinister smile. He then grabbed my shoulders and pushed me into the cave.

Collin's POV

I let out a fearful scream, as I stare at the ground getting closer and closer to me. I notice the bucket of water falling down next to me, this must be part of Steve's sick training for this world. He's a great person but what is with his cruel training?!" I grab the bucket and stare at the ground. I had done these MLGs a hundred times. What's one done in the real world of Minecraft? "Should be just as easy right?" I prepared to spam my mouse, or what I'm used to being a mouse. It seems I forgot mid-fall I no longer have a mouse to spam, but my actual life.

The ground is getting closer and closer by the second. I decide to try my last hope and just tilt the bucket upside down. Surprisingly, this works. The water pours out of the bucket hitting right under me so I land perfectly in the water with a loud splash. I can feel a chill run through my bones when I hit the water, not something I was used to. I hiss out in pain from the feeling, but I wasn't in pain at all. "I guess I should avoid MLGs like this from now on as much as possible. Or maybe do them more so I'm used to the pain?" I quickly stand up again picking up as much water as possible. I watch Steve jump off and easily use a water bucket to save himself. He has no reaction and I can feel my face heat up.

"Hmm? Why you so red? Don't tell me landing in the water got you all sick!" Steve shouted slightly worried. I shake my head quickly starting to feel a little flustered.

"No no, of course not. Just- how do you feel nothing when you fall from such a height?!" I ask a hint of confusion leaking through my voice. He lets out a quiet chuckle and smiles.

"Simple, I'm just used to it. Your not yet, keep doing it for a while and it'll become second nature in no time." He replied grabbing my hand. I felt my cheeks heat up even more. "What is this feeling?" I stare at him as he drags me down the cavern.

"Are you sure your okay? You look really red-" He gently pressed his hand on my head to feel my temperature, "Oh my your really bad, you want to sit down and take a break?"

"No no- I'm fine. I promise. Wait... you can get sick in this world?" I sound surprised. "How could one get sick in a video game world?" I put my hand on the hilt of my sword, "We need to get moving if we want to see The End." Steve nods slightly and keeps moving forwards. I follow closely behind but not too closely.

I hear a hissing sound behind me, and I can feel the breath of a monster down my neck. I pull out my sword and turn around in one swift motion. I stab the monster in the heart just before it can explode on me.

"What was that Collin?" Steve asked turning around spotting the green monster on the floor.

"Creeper." I reply with a small smile.

"Aww man." he replied with a small chuckle. We both laughed at the dumb joke and kept moving forwards. We fought many monsters in that cave, skeletons, creepers, zombies, even a few endermen. We never went against any rare monsters like baby zombies, or silverfish; if you can even call silverfish rare. But we still got into a lot of fights, which helped me with my training.

Once we got to where the eye was starting to go insane, we found a door. But much like my door at home, covered in redstone so it can be kept a secrete.

"Hmm.. its reacting really strong here.. but I don't see any kind of entrance." Steve sounded so confused. It was clear he wasn't used to redstone like I was. I handed him the eye of ender and walk closer to the walls. I lightly tapped each wall until I heard one that didn't sound quiet right. And I'm the kind of person who loves puzzles so instead of just mining the blocks, I moved to the walls nearby. I did some math in my head and pulled out a button. I placed the button on all possible locations for redstone to appear. Steve looked at me with a confused expression.

"What are you doing?" He asked while watching me finally find the outer redstone. I press the button and the door opens up for ten seconds.

"A redstone timer for a door. With the button very far away from the door. Whoever built this didn't want it to be found." I stated staring at the button in front of me. I pushed the button again staring at the door. I noticed a lever inside that might have the ability to hold the door open, or it might do something else, "This is a redstone puzzle, that's for sure." I mumbled while watching Steve enter the door. I slammed the button down again and dashed through the door. The door closed half a second after I entered the door, there was just barely enough time for me to get in even with sprinting. Meaning whoever made this didn't want anyone getting in at all.

"Redstone? Sounds complicated. I'm assuming your going to focus on completing the entire puzzle?" he groaned in annoyance. Clearly he wanted nothing to do with this puzzle, but if doing this puzzle and not doing the puzzle meant getting out of this world, I'll do the puzzle.

I walked down the skinny hallway with Steve behind me. I noted the next area didn't actually exist, and there was four levers. "A lever puzzle? Annoying but not impossible." I think while walking over to the levers and flicking one. As soon as the lever is flipped I hear a clicking sound from behind the wall, and a dispenser shoot out an arrow. It hits Steve in the arm and he hisses out in pain.

"Be careful with your redstone stuff will you?!" He growls and I feel immense guilt.

"I'm so so so sorry!! I'll be more careful!" I reply staring at the levers even closer now. "I can assume that there's multiple patterns that do negative things, and then there's a single patter to unlock a door. This will be annoying." I flick another lever carefully. I hear a click from behind the wall and watch as another trap is triggered. This time a poison tipped arrow shoots out. I notice it this time pulling out my shield and blocking the arrow.

"Right... be more careful. This is going to be painful." I grumble flicking another lever and hearing that same clicking sound. I pull up my shield deflecting yet another tipped arrow. This happens for thirty minutes. Flicking levers and deflecting arrows until finally I get the right pattern and a clicking sound followed by several pistons are heard.

"Hey! You got it! Good job!" Steve complemented with a soft smile. It was clear he was getting bored of waiting for me to figure it out. I smiled back walking through the door with Steve following close behind.
