( btw ' She ' as in France )
Britain POV
Execution drew nearer and nearer, I was transported to a different location, one, from what I could tell, was more isolated, away from the public.
The cell was a lot more cleaner too, surprisingly, instead of concrete for the floors, it was stone, so were the walls, a small luxury I suppose.
Little to no insects either, not much mold, and it smelled less awful.
But it didn't matter what cell I was placed it, I was now aware that my death drew near.
I leaned against the wall, inhaling sharply, like I was have a panic attack, this couldn't have been it, for the promised British Empire, this was his death.
To be executed, by not their mortal enemies the French, but by the Germans.
I smiled thinking of my times with dear France, the good times, atleast, for once, I cried, thinking of how I brought forth such wonderful children, as well as having a darling wife.
If I could go back in time and tell United States, Canada, Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Britanny, and Normandy that I loved them, I would, it's weird to say that, especially from such a selfish person like me, but I couldn't help it, i didn't want to leave them alone.
There was so many things I wish I had done, apologize was one of them, for my selfishness, and carelessness, my- ignorance.
I had let Austria fall into the hands of Reich- and- and Czechoslovakia- he died, because of me, I wish I could of gone back in time and never had agreed on the Münich agreement, or have let Reich reign in the first place.
It seemed like everything that was happening right now was my fault, I hadn't attacked Reich earlier when he invaded Poland, I didn't interfere with Reichs' and Soviets' affairs, i hadn't stopped Münich agreement, and, I'd let Reich reign in the first place, I was horrid.Suddenly, I saw light loom over me, I turned around and realized the sun was setting, a window! I hadn't seen a window in so long, I was also happy.
But that meant, execution was possibly, today.
I pushed out the feeling of despair, and I got up, and went over to the window.
Grass! A blue sky, accompanied with the biggest clouds I'd have ever seen, birds, and trees! I don't think I had ever been so happy to see the outside before.
It sense if calming filled me, as if, I were prepared to die.
I looked more outside, and noticed a gallow, I assumed that would be my death spot, my body hanging on display, like others I'd seen.
For once, I wasn't scared at the thought of it, it wasn't so bad, death, was probably the best outcome of all of this, right?
The British Empires tyranny would finally come to an end, I no longer have to have arguments, with my dearest wife, I don't have to see my children's saddened faces when I ignore them or hurt them, it almost seemed perfect for both parties, right?
But, I would die knowing that, I never changed from my selfish ways, never resoluted my relationship my wife, and never spent time with my kids, it didn't stick right for me.
And if they ever found out that i was hanged, how would they have reacted? Surely they would be happy, I mean, I deserve to die.
I had let France get captured at Dunkirk too, how stupid of me, I don't know what had stopped me from saving her, but-

Dunkirk, France, 1940
" Go! " France, shouted at me, out of breath.
" I can hold! " She said.
" No! France! If we are gonna repel the Germans, we have to either stay here and defend together, or we're leaving this city together! " I argued back, i didn't want to leave, I wouldn't be able to live with it!
She turned to me with a determind look. " Britainnia " She said, grabbing my hand and squeezing it.
" you're the bravest man I know, but I would rather, one of us die, than us both, but, I would rather be that one to die. " France said, I looked at her horrid.
" Fra- "
" Britain, " She said, squeezing my hand harder.
" I know it's a hard decision, but you must, you've got people and hope awaiting you, France though, France is doomed, make it, Britain, defeat the Germans for me. " She said, looking deeply in my eyes, for a moment, I was at a loss for words.
I felt tears prickling out of my eyes.
" France- You- " that were the only words I could get out, over the sound of screams, mobile tanks, and shooting.
" Go. " She said, helping me get up.
She let go of my hand.
