Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
What do I do?
We should have called the police.
We should take her to hospital.
Crap.
I've been stood staring at her for too long.
She's cowering on the floor of the bathroom and me and Walker are just staring at her. She's breathing heavily, she's showing a true emotion for the first time since I met her, unfortunately it's fear.
"We have to take you to the hospital." Walker says.
"No, please." She begs.
"Joe, look at her, she's terrified." I say and she is. At the mention of hospital she recoils and tears start falling, she looks awful.
"I'll call the others, we'll talk with them. Have a vote," I nod and Walker goes off to make the calls.
An hour later and I've bandaged her up, she's sat in the bedroom now. I gave her my phone and she asked for some paper and a pen, which I gave her.
The others are arriving.
"Guys, she's just scared. There's someone she needs to help and I think sending her away would ruin that." I try to reason with them, I don't know why. She needs help and we're going back to America in a few weeks.
"I don't know, I don't want to get involved. Imma go get coffee, anyone want one?" Holden heads to the door, takes orders and leaves.
Whatever choice I make I'll be hurting someone.
Which way do I turn when the road's become so twisted?
But they make their decision.z
"I vote she goes. This kid sounds like she needs help," Dylan says, "Votes for hospital?"
Most of the group put their hands up and my heart breaks.
This won't go down well.
I can't tell her.
I have to.
If it's anyone else, I don't know how she'll react but at least she's met me.
"I'll tell her, she knows me." I turn to the door but she's stood there.
Oh dear.
This isn't going to go well.
She stares at me.
Her breathing becomes heavy again.
She looks dreadful.
Exhausted.
Tired.
Sick of everything.
She's waiting for me to do something.
I don't know what to do.
What to say.
I move towards her.
She darts for the door.
She's making a break for it.
