Chapter 7: I really like you

Nikki's POV

It was Saturday morning and Shane and I decided to go to Penny's house right away seven hours before the Birthday of her mother. I picked out a white lace dress, white cardigan and a pair of cream white flat shoes. Nathan cannot come with me to Penny's house because he has a date with this girl that he likes and I'm proud of him that he ain't such a hopeless romantic guy anymore.

Nathan takes me to Penny's house by his car which is 13 minutes away from ours. We had a little chat about this girl since I can't take the awkward silence a bit longer than it does. I could tell that she is very sweet and kind by the way he describes her.

"She can be a little bit stubborn sometimes whenever she is asking me to buy a vanilla ice cream for her, but in the end I did what she wanted me to give her."

"For the sake of love?" I added and he just punch my arm jokingly.

"You know what, you gotta admit that you like Ethan. It's okay with me if he's too old for you, as long as this guy has a heart," Since when he is so caring about me starting to like Ethan? I had never seen him like this ever since I had my first boyfriend back in 9th grade.

I sighed," If I were you, I wouldn't mind someone's business on how much they like a person."

Nathan didn't say a word as if I was trying to be mean, but I know deep inside he didn't thought of it that way. He just doesn't want my attitude to get out of trouble, I think.

When we reached to Penny's house I see Shane waving at us," Nikki!"

"Shane!" I yelled back as I hop out of the car and glanced at Nathan," Goodbye, Nathan, I'll call you when I needed you to pick me up here."

"Okay," He said as he pulled over and left.

I ran towards Shane and pulled him into a hug," I was about to go inside Penny's house when you and Nathan arrived. Where is Nathan?"

I let out a groan and sneered," He has a date."

"Oh, okay."

We finally let go and ring the doorbell as seconds later Penny opens the door for us. She was even more beautiful than I thought. Last time I checked, she was just a simple yet beautiful girl with no make-up on. Now she looks gorgeous with little make-up, it was just a red lipstick and mascara to be honest.

I was just standing there with my mouth wide open," P-Penny? You look so fucking gorgeous girl," I said with exaggeration and smack her arm playfully.

She chuckled," Oh you guys, don't flatter me right now."

"Why not? You deserve to get flattered than those sick crazy bitches that wear too much make-up that eventually they look like clowns," I stated.
