Nikki's POV

2 years later...

It was my second year in college as I make my way to the library passing through a long hallway. I am currently studying in Yale University with my new friends Kesha, Donna, and Faye. And don't assume that I'm not friends with Heather and Tyler anymore. I still love them to the moon and back. Having a new set of friends is what I want especially when none of those two wanted to accompany me in attending Yale.

Heather decided to attend Georgetown University in Washington while Tyler wants to study in Princeton University, as what he really dreamed of attending. His LDR with Heather was pretty much fine as they go stronger for 2 years straight.

Nathan was having a hard time at first in choosing what University to attend since he badly wants University of California and University of Minnesota as his two best choices. But then he changed his mind shockingly that he'll attend Ohio State University in Columbus. I respected his choice because it is what he wants and I should accept it as his sister.

Ethan, on the other hand, he is currently in Los Angeles focusing on his new job that he got 2 years ago as an executive assistant turned CEO on a famous company.

Luckily, of course, I wouldn't forget that I had an online job a year ago as one of Donna's suggestion on solving my money problems. My mom and dad didn't have enough money to pay for my brother and I's tuition so I volunteered to make a living by providing my own money for the sake of my wants and needs, especially in education as I pursue my dreams when I graduate from College.

Let's cut the talking at the moment as I made it to the quiet library. As I pass by, I see students smiling and waving hands on me as I silently responded them expressively in an appropriate way.

Everyone knows me for being the wise and responsible student on my chosen course. I was part of the student council as a President, so I was professionally respected by each and every student that passed by on me.

My eyes spotted the three girls on a table with books on top of it. Donna was the only serious one as she read a book that is based on her chosen course.

"Hey little rascals!" I greeted exaggerately as quiet as I could, sitting at an empty seat beside Kesha.

The three of them laughed as Faye shove my head to the side,"You silly girl, it's beautiful rascals."

"I prefer ugly, if you like."

"Not gonna happen," Faye stated, speed texting someone on her phone.

"So, how's Philosophy?" I asked, referring to Donna who is seriously staring at the book.

She slammed the book shut and groaned,"Didn't exactly go well, but I'll try to cope up with it."

"Seriously, Donna? That's like the hundredth time you said it. When will you work things out with Philosophy?"

"I would say never," She responded truthfully with a mild chuckle.

"Leave her be, it's her problem not ours," Kesha piped in, smiling wickedly at Donna.

Donna rolled her eyes on Kesha, sighing angrily,"Shut up, Kesh, I never asked for your opinion."

"But I already said it," Kesha smiled even more with innocence.

"Whatever, just don't try to say anything stupid right now," Donna said in a drawl manner as she grabs another book, which is a romance novel from Nicholas Sparks.

Vibration was felt on my skin as I took my phone out of my pocket, checking for any text messages. They were two that came from my best friend Heather and boyfriend Ethan.
