Nikki's POV

Jared.

Why the heck is he here? This is a bad timing for me and I'm not supposed to see him right now.

"Uhm, guys? I think I saw someone horrible," I told them with a terrified look.

Nathan finds the person I was talking about and he was shocked," Not just horrible, but a motherfucker," He cursed angrily as he stood up and walked over to him. Oh no, this isn't good right now.

He grabs Jared's shirt and said," You little fucker, why did you hurt my sister?" He growled as he punched him in the face. Jared falls on the floor and winced in pain.

Everyone in the Diner gasped when a fighting scene came. I'm pretty sure you guys are already grabbing a popcorn while reading this :P

Jared stood up and said," I didn't hurt her."

"Yes you did," He made another punch in his face, but this time Jared moved backwards.

"Nathan, stop!"

"Don't, try to interrupt me," He tells me and I just keep my mouth shut as he goes back to business.

Jared glanced at me and his lip is bleeding. I feel sorry for him, I shouldn't told them the whole story about last night because this mess wouldn't happen by now," Nikki, I'm sorry."

"Sorry is not good enough, Jared, please go away."

"Nikki, please listen to me—"

"She said go away," Nathan grumbles as he pushed him away from me.

"N-nikki, p-please....... you gotta listen to me," He stutters.

I shook my head as an answer," I don't have time to listen to you, just get out of here."

"But—"

"GET OUT!" I screamed and he stormed out of the Diner. I let out a heavy sigh and broke down into tears.

Heather runs after me and pulled me into a tight hug," Shhh... it's okay, he's gone now."

After that incident 6 hours ago I finally managed to get my privacy in my room, thinking about those memories I had with Jared while we are still dating. I hate to see it that those beautiful memories are going down to the dumps and somehow they are hard to forget. Those bitter girls on Facebook and Instagram are right, there's no forever.

I take a selfie for a minute and posted it on Instagram with a quote: Nothing lasts forever. Everything is temporary, even your emotions.
