"What did they ask you?" Cooper and Addy asked Moon, who was laying down on one of the benches in the main lobby area of Bayview High, reading a book. Moon glanced up at them, one eye shut, sighing as she sat up and set her book down.

"Come, sit," Moon patted the spaces beside her, gesturing for them to sit down. Addy took a seat while Cooper remained standing. "They have footage of me getting money for cooking drugs which they found on Simon's hard drive, and they had some of my old files from New York." She whispered to them. "So they might pull something out of the blue, like from before the summer or even further back."

Cooper and Addy glanced at each other. "When are they bringing you guys in?"

"Today after school," Cooper told her.

"Tomorrow," Addy informed.

They momentarily glanced at Bronwyn as she walked into school, all eyes turning to her. She was looking particularly grim today. "Get up, we have chem," Addy grabbed onto Moon's arm, pulling her up, the girl grumbling. "Chem is the last thing I want to do either, alright? The feeling is beyond mutual."

"Finally, I can breathe," Moon began to sigh as Addy left her, talking to Janae, who complimented the blonde's new hair. As soon as she turned into the hall, Maeve Rojas quite literally bumped into her, stumbling into Moon's front.

Instinctively, Moon reached for the girl's waist, providing some form of stability, and in response, Maeve's hands subconsciously found her shoulders. They looked at each other, and Moon struggled to breathe. She was the first to push Maeve up and off of her, "I know you're short, Little Rojas, but maybe don't fall over your own feet."

"Are you really qualified to be giving advice like that?" Maeve looked up at her, displeased. She was about to walk past Moon, but she stopped, tugging her down by the sleeve of Moon's sweater, whispering in her ear. "I know you know about Bronwyn's whole outburst with Simon. I need to talk to you, right now."

Without warning, Maeve grabbed her hand, dragging her to the music room. Moon sat down on the beanbags once they got there, crossing her arms. "Bronwyn is why Simon ghosted me, right?" Maeve swiveled around to look at Moon. "Right?"

Moon glanced away as she heard her voice cracked before nodding, "Yeah." Maeve nodded slowly. "I felt guilty. So, I told her."

"Wow. That's a first," Maeve scoffed.

"I mean," Moon began before coughing. "It's my fault you confided in him, isn't it?" Maeve sighed in disbelief, shaking her head as she looked away. "After what happened."

"Moon, can we talk?" Maeve Rojas jogged up behind Moon Lee, who was walking out of the local grocery store. The older girl turned at her name and immediately sighed, turning away. "Hey, asshole!" The shorter girl shoved her back, but Moon barely budged.

She turned back around though, tilting her head down at the shorter girl, "What, Rojas? What do you want from me?" Moon raised her eyebrows, gaze questioning. Maeve gestured for her to follow her into the bathroom. "We're not doing this."

"Moon, please," Maeve reached for the lapels of her jacket, but Moon pushed her away. That really stung in the moment, and Moon could tell as she put her hands up.

"I'm sorry. Sorry," Moon put her hands down. She ran a hand through her hair, leaning against the sinks. "Look, Maeve, you're... like-- " Moon rubbed her nose, looking at her. "You're really pretty, and honestly? Great style. But I can't keep doing whatever this is." She gestured to herself and at Maeve. "I'm sorry. It's--"
