Nate's bail was being set at 500,000 dollars, and there was nothing Elise Choi could do to reduce it or get it scrapped completely. Majority of the methods she was thinking of would take ages to get approved. She was at the detention center where Nate was being held for now, with some plea deal. Isaac was pacing, trying to figure out a way around it all, and it was stressing Moon out.

"Isaac, please. Sit down," Moon pleaded from the top bunk.

"I can't sit, Moon! How are you so calm letting Nate rot in prison for something he didn't do?" Isaac exclaimed.

Moon groaned, throwing aside the book she was reading, "Because there's nothing we can fucking do, Isaac! It's the first 24 hours, we can't do much right now. The fact that Elise is even helping is a fucking miracle and she's doing everything she can." Her phone buzzed, a message from Bronwyn popping up asking to meet.

She pushed herself off of the bunk, sighing at Isaac, "Look, I'm sorry for yelling. I'm gonna go get some snacks, you want anything?"

"A double cheeseburger, please."

"Strawberry smoothie?"

Isaac hummed, crawling into the bottom bunk with his phone.

Moon made her way to Addy's house, jogging up the stairs of the Prentiss girl's house. "What I don't get is why someone put one pen in my locker, and all the rest on Nate's bike," Addy said as she shut the door to her room behind Moon.

"Maybe it was a distraction," Janae suggested, and Moon's brow furrowed as to why she was even there. Cooper and Bronwyn seemed to share her confusion, glancing in her direction. "Or maybe they were trying to frame you too."

"So are you one of us now?" Cooper sassed.

"Okay, it was my best friend who was murdered," Janae retorted. "Also, Bronwyn invited me."

"Okay, Nate's in jail. We have to get him out," Bronwyn said, panic clear in her voice. "So we need all the help we can get."

"Absolutely, so what's the plan?" Addy nodded.

Moon's eyes brightened, "Prison break?" Addy shook her head at her, a small smile on her face.

"No," Bronwyn said, as if it was obvious, which it was, but Moon loved prison break movies with an undying passion. "Ms Avery. We know the cops weren't looking at her because they thought she had no motive, but now we know that she did 'cause Simon had something on her."

"Do you think she was sleeping with a student?" Addy theorized.

"Wait, who would she possibly be sleeping with?" Cooper interjected.

"Just saying, that is always the teacher's secret--"

Bronwyn waved her arms around, nearly hitting Moon in the face as she was sat on the corner of Addy's bed, "Whatever it is, we just need to get her talking. We bluff. We tell her we know what she did, and then we record her response."

"Yeah, who's gonna do that?"

"Someone who could have believable heard it from Simon," Bronwyn suggested, turning to Janae. The Bayview Four turned to Janae, "So that's why she's here," Moon said.

"Sorry, what?" Janae said in disbelief.

"Do you want to know what really happened to Simon?" Bronwyn questioned.
