Eron woke to a warmth on his back, like a candle was hovering to comfort and support him. A feeling of a smile spreading on his face and relaxing as the blankets rested gently on him. He blinked awake as sunlight entered his eyes, blinding him for a moment. Yawning, sitting up and looking around drowsy. Devon sat next to him, his eyes focused on his hands and Eron felt his eyes widen. "AAAHH!" Eron screamed whilst jumping back, a flame flickered in the elfs hands. A laugh balled out of him and the flame vanished.
"Relax would you?" Devon pulled Eron back up, "it's just amusing when a human sees magic for the first time".
"I thought you were on fire!" Eron protested, leaning back on the pillows.
"Just relax, I'm fine ain't I? You were cold so I thought I'll warm you up" he shrugged, pushing Eron closer into a cuddle.

"So just like cuddles?" Eron asked, his voice relaxing as he spoke and went limp so the elven king was satisfied.
"I guess you would say that, usually it's more then that by now" he put his and on Erons thigh, "you're just a little screamish it seems".
"Am not!" Eron narrowed his eyes and frowned.
"Didn't seem like that last night" he teased, "don't understand why you're not ready though".
"I-" Eron was prepared to protest but he doesn't understand why not either, it was very obvious to him that something is being formed between them.
"Exactly" Devon grinned, his eyes showing a lust in them. "Anyway we're gonna officially declare war in two days, prepare yourself it will be long but we're almost guaranteed to win" he smiled, a wild flare in his eyes.

"So how hard was the winter for you?" Eron asked and he was greeted with a suspicious look. "I mean why want this territory so badly? especially after such a harsh winter for all of us" he shrugged.
"Well getting here I'm sure you've seen the fluds, it has caused multiple of the villages to evaluate. The city is big but we're over crowded now. Not to mention the sickness that those fluds brings..." Devon trailed off, almost cutting himself off. "You?".
"The cold mainly, it was freezing even with a fire. It has caused many deaths" Eron frowned. He tries to keep it out of his mind, it happened months ago. One of the bartenders in the bar that the soldiers often takes their brakes in, she was young but she was sweet on him. (Oh poor Inke, her family was so destroyed) he sighed once more when he remembered the day he found out that the cold got her.

It was after a long day and he wanted to see her, she has been sick for a few days and he wanted to treat her on her break. She has often gotten him free drinks and spent time with him on his days off and he wanted to pay her back. Once he got there he realised that she was not around, he asked another worker and she told him that tragic news. Inke was dead. He joined her family to help support her, she was sweet and thus loved. It was hard not to cry, but she was gone. He had to move on. (Is that why I'm not ready? Still silently grieving for her? But we didn't get serious in any way only a few flirts) he thought.

"Anyone you knew? That's a lot of sadness in your eyes" Devon observed, pulling him closer into the cuddle.
"Y-yeah... just a girl I was seeing" he shook the thought of, he couldn't greave for her now, she's moved on.
"A girl? You like men and women? Interesting" Eron felt Devon pet his back gently, "don't worry, she's most likely up in heven by now" his voice was soothing and Eron smiled. Feeling his chest rise and fall, he was sure of his feelings. (It may not be extreme love that's seen in those books but, it's certainly an attraction) he smiled, blushing. "Oh I haven't done anything yet" Devon teased, lifing his head with a smile, "what about now? Want some fun?" He asked with his hands exploring his body.
"Ur- urr" he curler into him, (maby the idea of anel is intimidating to me).
"Alrighty then" Devon kissed his cheek and adjusted himself to be more comfy.

"I mean..." he took a moment to think about, "if you want something" he finished, reaching to take the covers of the elf.
