Eron crouched nexted to Devon in the dead of night. Devon's position is at the back of the enemies city's main hall. Where the mayor and most of the soldiers and gards are positioned. The plan is to take out the mayor and take out the rest of the city, (why am I the only one who said anything? These are innocents! They shouldn't die! Why don't they reject against it?!). Eron had to shake those thoughts away as there's no turning back now. There were two other positions of the outer walls to act as backup for the bigger and stronger command of Devon's. "Ok just got to wait for the night gard to switch out and during that we can sneak in without notice" Devon whispered and the message was passed down.

The night gard looked down but with the way the wall is made, that if you hug onto the wall they can't see you. On this side persificly, the overgrowth of trees and bushes can hide an army at night. Devon gave a signal and he moved down the wall and into the window that's just in sight for the night gard. Eron looked over as he sneaked behind the elven king and saw that the gard is buissy checking in and not looking. They all moved fast, the window allowed two gards to enter at the same time. The command all sneaked into the dark room, it looked to be an empty guests room. (Ok so I hope Devon knows the great hall well) Eron thought as he continued to sneak with him. Devon moving quick and low, sending singles down the army until they made their way up. The stairs was left unguarded and it was easy to make their way up.

(Something's not right, this is too easy) Eron thought, looking back but all he saw was devoted elves. "King Devon" Eron whispered so quietly that eveb he barly heard it.
"Yes?" Devon answered back as they claimed the stairs.
"This is too easy" Eron whispered, "surly there should be more gards, more security or something right?" He shared his thoughts as they reached the top of the stairs.
"Yes... I've noticed, just stick to the plan" Devon whispered an answer. Devon sneaked quickly up the halls until they faced a grand door... with no gards in sight. (What is this?!) Eron thought, he looked around and something caught his eye. Above... did something move? Eron felt his eyes widen as he recognised the Garnet armour and screamed, "AMBUSH!".

Eron drew his balde quick enough to counter the Garnet soldiers attack. Hundreds came jumping down form any ledge and beam and they quickly became overwhelmed from the numbers. Eron slashed his sword and the Garnet soldier he was facing fell and an Opul solder quickly killed him. Eron flet a stab in his side and Garnet soldier with nasty looking dagers slashed at him again. The dagers looked to be 5 different blades murder into one and it was able to curve deep wounds into his side. Eron bit his lip and swung his own balde and it clashed into the Garnets chest. Eron kicked him back before ge could use those dagers again and he finished him and turned to see where Devon is. (How!? How did they know!?) Eron thought as he caught sight of the Opul King. Devon was facing two soldiers with those devilish dagers. The king covered in his own blood, using his duel blades to quickly decapitate the Garnets.

Eron rushed to his side, having to slash a soldier who tried to stop him. "Was this a trap!?" Eron called as he slashed a Garnet soldier as he got close.
"But how! I only announced these plans this morning!" Devon hissed, killing three soldiers with a snarle. Eron focused on the battle, acong as Devens wing again and taking out as many gards as possible. Eron felt as if he blinked and the Garnet genral called, "RETREAT!" And the gards fled. They ran down the call and Devon made chase. Eron and the rest followed and they ran out of the main hall and into the city. Devon led and quickly snagged a slower soldier and killed him, (Wow I thought he would want him for questioning) Eron thought as they continued. "Catch that gental!" Devon hissed an order to his men, they all followed and split up into groups of three and two.

They all tried to their best to catch the genral that was retreating towards the cities, soldiers stable. Eron followed Deven and stuck with him as they ran after the fleeing gards. Eron saw the genral and he realised that he has one clear shot. It was a long shot but if he could slash his legs that was left completely in the open. Eron readied his sword, lined it up and slashed. The genral dropped with a scream, blood trailed down his legs and he struggled up with a limp. The Garnet gards stopped and quickly blocked them from their genral. "Nice work, Eron" Devon panted as he stopped, they were at the cities main gate by now. One of the back up commands climbing the wall, seeing how badly the plan has failed.

Devon stepped forward, "move! Or you'll die where you stand!" He hissed at them with a spat of discust. The Garnet soldiers hesitated, a few looking at their now hopeless genral. "Let me through, maybe I can stop any more desth" the genral limped over with a soldier holding him up.
"Wise of you" Devon grinned, "now!" He rose his voice so it echoed to everyone up the road.
"Before you start!" The genral spat at him, "I'm not telling you thing! You'll never know how we know all about your desperate plans!". (That doesn't sound wise to say, and not the thing to say to stop death moron) Eron thought.
"In that case, Forly! Take him captive! He's our prisoner now" Devon grinned at the genral who glared back at him, "anyone who tries to stop us! Dies!" He spar the last word and began to move out of the city. The plan failed but a part of Eron felt gard as he watched everyone move out.
