Gerard and i walked down the isles of the grocery store, we were there to get some things for the house, we passed the bread and an idea popped into my head. There was a park a few miles down the road, and it had a little duck pond.

"Gee?", I asked, stopping at the loaves of bread.
"Yeah?" He said, walking back over to me.
"We should go feed the ducks at the park!" I said, looking at him holding bread with the biggest grin on my face.
He checks the time.
"Yeah, that's be fun." He smiled, "Me and Mikey used to feed em' all the time." He laughed lightly at the memory.

Man, i love this guy.

We paid for our groceries, and walked to the car.
We got in the car, i buckled myself in.

"I'm so excited to see the little duckies." I smiled wide, watching trees pass by the windows.
I looked at Gerard, he was nodding his head to the music that was playing. I loved when he did this because personally, i thought it was adorable.

We pulled into the parking lot of the park.
I grabbed the bread and waited for Gerard to get out of the car.

"Geeeee! Hurryyyy!" I whined.
"I'm coming!" He laughed.

I held his hand as we walked towards the pond.
Little duckies sat on the murky water of the pond.
i opened the bread and gave Gerard a piece of bread.

"They're so cute!" I said pointing at a little duckling as it waddled up to me.
I picked a tiny piece off, feeding it to the little duck.
Gerard tossed some pieces in the pond, the ducks eating it.

The little duckling ate the tiny piece.
"He must like you, huh?" Gerard said, watching me feed the little duck.
"Can we keep him? Please?"
"No, he has to stay with his momma. That's ducknapping, sugar."
"Fine, i guess you're right." I giggled as he walked towards me.
Gerard sat next to me, i rested my head on his shoulder, as i continued to feed the ducks, he put an arm around my waist, pulling me into him. I took in his scent. The cigarette smoke with a hint of faded cologne.

The sun was setting, and it was getting cold. He draped his jacket over the two of us, and we watched the sun set and fed all the little duckies in the pond. Some slept, and some kept eating.

The sun finally set, we made our way home.
Where we ate, listened to music, and fell asleep in the safety of each others embrace.
