chapter 14: returning to high tech

Today is the day the guys get their advancement back and to do that they are going to use the fabricator. They follow the fabricator up with the gasoline they have and get it starting. Meanwhile delirious was busy making clay to craft adobe structures to upgrade the mansion base. We see the guys are next to the fabricator as they go through their Ingram list to learn new things from the scorched earth Ingram.

Vanoss: the fabricator up and running guys

Wildcat: hell ya it is

Basically: so what should we craft

Vanoss: well let's see what we've learned in are implant

Basically: I have learned an electric windmill, this will bring us infinite amount of power

Vanoss: that's awesome

Nogla: del told me that he has learned a chainsaw and so did I

Vanoss: awesome

Wildcat: well I don't know about you guys, but I did learn a whip and a couple of new creature saddles

Terroriser: is one of them a thorny dragon saddle?

Wildcat: yes

Terroriser: alright

Basically: let's not forget about the armor and weapons we have already learned

Nakedzombo: and don't forget about other electrical stuff like lights and air conditioners

Terroriser: actually we need air conditioners for the super heat wave

Nogla: agree

Basically: I think lights is what we need

Vanoss: ok

Nogla: hey mathew, didn't the people in your village had a fabricator

Mathew: ya.... But we only make weapon, never any of this light and electric windmill

Basically: only weapons

Mathew: ya

Basically: ok, but at least you will see how we make things

Mathew: ok

Vanoss: while del is upgrading this place we should get more metal and get some obsidian

Mathew: obsidian?

Basically: it a smooth volcanic glass in the form of crystal stones

Mathew: huh?

Basically: it's how we make polymer by mixing cementing paste and obsidian together. That's how we make weapons and armor and other stuff like gas mask or mining helmets

Mathew: oh.... Ok

Vanoss: well.... We should start now, oh mathew

Mathew: yes

Vanoss: here *gives him a metal pickaxe*

Mathew: a better pickaxe

Vanoss: ya, this will help you get more metal from the deposit

Mathew: really?

Vanoss: yes, now let's go get some metal and obsidian

Vanoss and the guys (except for delirious) head out to go gather metal and obsidian. They do have enough chitin to make lots of cementing paste. They make their way up the mountain and pass a couple of non hostile creatures. As they head up the mountain they see a couple of metal deposits on the side of the path. So they began to harvest the metal and the others continue up the path. Around the path they make it to the top of the mountain and sees that it's still has metal deposits and a couple of obsidians they haven't harvest yet. So they begin to harvest the metal and obsidian. Mathew decided to harvest the obsidian and from the looks of it they are a little heavy. Vanoss finished harvesting the metal, but turns to see mathew transferring obsidians into his inventory and moving a bit slow.
