team 6 of scorch earth (vanoss crew x ark survival)

chapter 24: the Phoenix

In the ultra base we see mathew and hln-a talking to each other as hln-a helped mathew put the saddle on for his Arthropleura. Then the door opens to reveal the guys are back with a disappointed look on their face.

HLN-A: heys guys, what's wrong?

Vanoss: we have bad news hln-a

HLN-A: bad news what is it?

Basically: the artifact is gone

HLN-A: wait what?

Raasclark: the artifact, it wasn't there at all

HLN-A: are you sure?

Vanoss: we are sure

HLN-A: this can't be right

Delirious: we thought so as well

HLN-A: what?

Vanoss: *turns to raasclark* are there any other caves or anything?

Raasclark: I'm afraid not, sorry

Vanoss: great

Terroriser: so now what?

Vanoss: hln-a can you track the artifact with the ark system or something?

HLN-A: well I don't need to use the ark system. I can just use my tracking system to locate the artifact

Vanoss: good, can you do that

HLN-A: of course just give me a second

Hln-a floats in the air and creates a projection of the scorched earth ark. She begins to locate the last artifact for the guys to go retrieve. About a second later she found the location of the artifact.

HLN-A: I found it

Nogla: you did?

HLN-A: ya

Nakedzombo: where is it?

HLN-A: it's located at... Wait huh?

Basically: what? Where is it?

HLN-A: it's located at southwest of the ark, in a ruin area called the arena

Vanoss: that's where it is

HLN-A: ya... But why is it there?

Vanoss: I don't know, but let's go get it

HLN-A: hold on, are you sure

Basically: ya why?

HLN-A: my database shows about a super heatwave event showing up at some point

Vanoss: well we can't wait, we to go get it

Wildcat: let's change are armor to the desert clothing

Vanoss: ya, come on guys

Vanoss and his friends begins to change their clothing as they are going to go after the artifact. Despite knowing that the super heatwave is going to make things a little difficult they won't stop until they get the artifact. After they all are in their desert clothing they go out and make their way to the southwest of the ark. They can feel the heat in the air as a sign about the super heatwave, so they need to move fast. They make their way to where the red obelisk is and where they once lived. Raasclark now takes the lead as well as nakedzombo since they both know where this arena is. They pass by their destroyed base as vanoss rubs his mind away from what happened. Once they are at the red obelisk raasclark and nakedzombo make their way to the direction of the ruins.

As they are traveling they can feel a lot of heat in the air, this means that the super heatwave is getting close. They enter the dunes and make their way to the location. Far in the distance they can see the ruins of the arena, so they are on the right track. They press onwards, but one of them looks to their right and sees a wave of sand moving about. A sighting of a deathworm as they told them about it. They do their best to about the deathworm and continue on to the ruins. They arrive at the ruins of what look to be the arena, a giant arena. They than went around the area to find an entrance to get inside. As they go around they see that the arena is actually sinking into the sand from the side, leaving an opening for them to enter. They head into the arena as they look around to see that it looks more like a colosseum than an arena. They look around for the artifact in hopes that it's here. They can feel the super heatwave is getting more close from the amount of heat they are getting. They got off their mounts and look around much better. At first they thought they would give up and go back home, until delirious spots a glow in the center of the arena.
