As vanoss and his friends make their way back home they all disgust about their time in the cave and even trying to compare it to other artifact caves they've done. Raasclark gets a good hearing since he is flying low to them. It's interesting to hear about what they experience in the artifact caves and what they've done to get the artifacts. Raasclark looks ahead to the red obelisk and noticed something off, he sees smoke in the distance.
Raasclark: ummm guys
Vanoss: ya
Raasclark: something not right
Wildcat: what is it?
Raasclark: look!
They all look to where he's pointing at and sees smoke in the distance. It's at the red obelisk where their base it, that when it hits them. They command their creatures to run as they rush to their base quickly. Running and running as they go they arrive at the red obelisk and they see something that shocked them. Their mansion base is damaged, there are lots of scattered pieces of the base. Giant burning holes and destroyed equipments, not only that but the creature that were here are now dead. They can't believe what they are seeing and are speechless of what happened.
Basically: no.... Are base
Nogla: it's badly damage and destroyed
Vanoss: what happened
As they all are in thought as to what happened to their base vanoss mind mind clicked to something. Something that he is scared about, mathew.
Vanoss: oh no! Mathew!
Delirious: oh shit!
Wildcat: come on guys!
They all got off their mounts and head to their destroyed base as they search for mathew and hln-a. They go inside and see that their fabricator is completely melted and destroyed. They all search around as they call out mathew and hln-a.
Delirious: mathew!
Wildcat: mathew! Mathew!
Basically: Mathew! HLN-A! Hello!
Vanoss: come on! Come on! HLN-A! Mathew! Where are you!
HLN-A: vanoss! Over hear!
Vanoss goes to where he heard hln-a voice and sees where their at. Then he sees the room upstairs seem to be intact. He goes up the stairs and goes to the room, he sees hln-a and mathew who is scared to death. He sees vanoss and immediately runs to him and cry's on his flak armor.
Mathew: your.... Your back.... *Crying*
Vanoss: your ok.... Your ok... HLN-A.... What happened?
HLN-A: it was horrific and scary
Vanoss: what happened?
HLN-A: this is what happens
5 hours earlier.
Hln-a looks around as she is keeping an eye on mathew who is chasing around a jerboa. Hln-a watches him and then goes to him.
HLN-A: are you trying to tame a jerboa
Mathew: ummm ya... I know I already have one, but I just needed to tame another one for my other jerboa. You know so he won't be alone
HLN-A: I see
Mathew: you they'll be alright?
HLN-A: of course they are, I know they can do this. They've done it before and a lot, so they'll be fine
