chapter 7: teaching 101

The next day.

The guys have managed to build half of the base/mansion since they ran out of resources. But they did make the smithing table and the refined forge, there is a little mountain up ahead that has metal deposits for them. Then they built a dock for them to go fishing or a swim to cool off. Vanoss and his friends tamed more creatures that can help them, they tamed an iguanodon to help harvest some berries and narco berries. They also tamed more raptors and manager to take a deinonychus egg, which was terrifying to get. Tho nogla was the one who got the egg first and is now seen incubate it with standing torches. The guys are quite close to getting back their fabricator, but not even close to get their Tek replicator back. Right now the guys are continuing to finish up their mansion and making clay for the adobe structures.

Vanoss looks out of the window and sees mathew playing around with delirious jerboa. He knows it's delirious because for some reason his jerboa is painted blue on the back. Now he wonders if he can put paints on his dino to, but we'll see how that goes. But as he is watching the boy hln-a slowly and silently approaches vanoss from the side.

HLN-A: what you doing mate

Vanoss: AAAH! don't do that!

HLN-A: sorry, did I ruin something?

Vanoss: no you didn't

HLN-A: so what are you doing?

Vanoss: just watching the boy

HLN-A: mathew? Why what's happened

Vanoss: it's nothing, just keeping an eye on him

HLN-A: he looks alright vanoss

Vanoss: ya but still tho

HLN-A: are you over protecting him?

Vanoss: what? No.... Just watching him that's all

HLN-A: well how about something for you and your guys to do

Vanoss: what?

HLN-A: why don't you teach him a little something that I taught you guys

Vanoss: how to survive, wasn't that what he's been doing before we arrived here?

HLN-A: yes but he needs to know more than just saying in one place, so teach him something

Vanoss: like what?

HLN-A: like how to survive, how to craft, how to build, and possibly how to tame

Vanoss: I'm not sure if mathew can do all that and he is young to do all that

HLN-A: well do you want him learn on his own and not knowing how to use his implant he was born with? Well do you?

Vanoss: *sighing* alright.... I guess well teach him a thing or two about surviving and all

HLN-A: nice, I'll be there to see if the boy can do all that

Vanoss: ok but nothing dangerous for him 

HLN-A: got it and just start from the beginning

Vanoss: alright, let's go

With that vanoss goes outside and calls everyone, including mathew. Once they did they all go to him as vanoss takes them to the docks they made. Once there they all are curious as to why vanoss called them, but that's when he explains to them.

Wildcat: you called Evan?

Vanoss: yes I have

Nogla: well what is it? Because I need to check on my feather raptor egg
