Harley's pov
"Who are you?" I heard a booming laugh and my heart speed up. Damon looked at me suspiciously until finally he caught on. "Oh you must be the boyfriend" I wanted to punch Damon, how did J even find me? "I'm going to assume you know her" "hmm tall blonde cuckoo for coco puffs?" "Yes" "never seen her" there was silence and I was afraid to peek so I stayed behind the corner.

"You're going to leave my property and you're going to leave Harley alone" "so you do have my girl. Alright, Harley, HARLS!" I felt a hot year roll down my face "I'm sorry for yelling doll, if you come out right now I promise I won't kill your friends" I heard another laugh so I took a deep breath before finally coming out of hiding. "Oh there's my pretty pretty girl" Damon slowly turned to me "I thought I said stay there" "you didn't" Damon narrowed his eyes at me "well it was implied".

I walked closer to the door and Damon grabbed me "uh uh what are you doing?" "I told you, he'd kill all of you! I've gotta go. Aunt Jenna tell Elena I love her" Jenna walked over to Joker. "Umm hi, who are you?" Joker gave her a smile "well hello there pretty lady" "you didn't answer my question" Mister J smiled showing off his teeth "well they call me The Joker but you can call me whatever you want" "yeah, umm right so why are you here?" Joker finally looked at me in the eyes.

"I missed you honey! I really really did non of that manipulation stuff... not this time" joker pushed past Damon and grabbed my hands "you're not wearing a shirt" he smiled down on me "I had Denny chew off a penis today" I smiled "aw he's such a good little rat! No I'm mad at you" Joker groaned loudly and quite dramatically. "Alright you want me to say it?" "Yes" he narrowed his eyes at me "you make me crazy you know that?" I pretended to not be phased by his flattery.

He got down on one knee and grabbed my hands "Harley Quinn I am so sorry for being...? For doing...?" "You don't even know why I'm mad" "well you're always mad" the door was knocked on again "is this a bad time?" I smiled "Elijah! No come in!" Joker stood up and looked between me and Elijah "don't worry there's nothing going on" Joker didn't respond he just turned away and walked into the kitchen. "Right on to dinner" I turned away and went to the kitchen.

Throughout the dinner I could tell Joker was analyzing me and Damon's interactions he was getting suspicious of us. "I hate to break it to you Damon, but according to Elijah your family's is so not a founder of this town" Damon pretended to car "hmm do tell". I looked away from Damon and forced myself to eat. I wasn't hungry or anything but I just couldn't deal with all of this. Joker found me he really found me and he was going to take me away. Honestly fuck him! Hey he could mean well! Yeah he misses us! Well you! "Yeah I guess so".

"So these witches are rounded up. They were tied to stakes in a field together and uh burned. Some say you could hear the screams from miles around us" "ooh sounds like a good time" Joker and I said together... completely coincidentally I promise guys it was an accident! Elijah gave us a weird look but continued on "I wouldn't repeat this to the historical society" Jenna said to which everyone except Joker and I responded with fake laughs.

One thing Joker hates more than anything in this world is fake laughter. It irks him that people fake laugh he believes that laughs would only be for real like that time when we tattooed «Harley's Bitch» on someone's forehead just because. That was a really good day. No it wasn't! Yeah don't you remember what happened afterwards? "Huh?" Don't you remember? J pushed you off a building sometime after! Yeah I can't believe we're still with that jerk! He's trying to change! He loves us! "I'm going to get a drink" I stood up and left the table hitting my head a bit hopping they voices would shut up.

"Hey Pooh" I tended up at the old nickname "why haven't you answered my phone calls?" I turned around slowly to face him "J I'm sorry it's just I've been really busy here you know? We just, I just— "shh" he put his smile tattoo over my mouth and I froze completely. "Oh Doll Face let's just move past this ok? I don't need you to come home but I do need you to carry out something for me. Will you do it?" I smiled at him happily.

"Oh I'd do anything for you J" he smiled and started playing with my pigtails "I know you would Harley Girl" he kissed my slowly and longingly. This was all I had ever wanted and I was finally getting it. "I love you J" he smiled and then started laughing "I love you too Darlin! Oh and about that favor I need you to carry out this deal for me" he slipped a card into my bra "I've gotta go and deal with Batman but promise me you'll do it?" I smiled "I'm nodding" "I'll call you later Honey" I watched him leave a dopey smiled plaster on my face.

As I was about to leave Alaric came in and grabbed my arm roughly "I need your help don't ask questions". I nodded "I nodded" I heard Alaric chuckle but he didn't respond to me. We went into the library but on our way in Alaric walked into the doorframe "ahh" I giggled, Yeah that was funny! The funniest! How about we don't talk unless we have important things to say! Everything I say is important! I groaned "how about all of you shut up!" I saw Elijah give me a weird look but I just kept my smile. "Gentleman... we forgot about dessert" Damon rolled his eyes but I ignored him like like always and walked over to Elijah. "May we?" he gave me a small smile and took my hand "we may Miss. Quinn"

Elijah took my hand and we walked back out to the donning room. "Sorry guys dessert is taking longer than I thought. I usually just unwrap the food" I smiled softly and sat next to Elijah. "Hey Elijah?" He turned to face me and I gave him my best seductive smile "do you like naps?" He raised an eyebrow and then I stabbed him. "I'm so sorry Elijah, I really did like you".
