Harley's pov
I walked in a circle while Klaus was talking to the Greta witch girl and Katherine was sitting in the chair counting for me. When my head started buzzing I dropped to floor and Katherine sat up "122 seconds" I groaned "I need to go longer" Katherine stared at Klaus before sitting on the floor next to me.

"So why do you need to do this spin in a circle crap?" Katherine started playing with my pigtails and I stared into her eyes "if someone hits you really hard in the head you get dizzy I'm trying to build up a tolerance so I can work through the dizziness" Katherine furrowed her brows "have you been hit in the head before?" I winked at her and she just laughed.

"You're not so bad clown" she took my pigtails out and started playing with my hair. I usually don't let people touch me especially not my hair but it felt really nice and Katherine had no desire to hurt me so I'll allow it. "Harley dear" I slowly opened my eyes and rolled on my side facing Klaus.

"Which Salvatore brother should I find first" I looked at Katherine but she just shrugged her shoulders "what for? For what? Fort wha— "Harley!" I stopped rephrasing and starred at him. "Salvatore brother?" "Right umm Damon. Stefan is way too cool for you to ruffle his feathers" Klaus fixed his shirt in the mirror and I went to stand behind him.

"I like your hair down" I watched in the mirror as my pale face grew some color on my cheeks. I was blushing I noticed as my face felt hot. "Where shall I find this Damon?" "The Grill" Klaus turned towards me and smiled "you are just... a delight" he leaned towards me and kissed my cheek every so slightly but the blush came back with a full force.

My heart sped up and I realized I wasn't really breathing. How do you breathe? "I'll be back soon ok?" With that he walked past me and left, however I didn't move from my stance I just stood there thinking about my bodily reactions.

Why do I feel so hot all over? You like him don't you! He is very very handsome! Hell if you don't want him I'll take him! "Back off he's mine!" Just then everyone except for Katherine stared at me in confusion. "She does that get over it" Katherine said and everyone went back to doing whatever they were doing.

I walked over to the Greta witch girl and stood directly behind her "so whatcha doing?" She ignored me which was very rude of her " I said whatcha doin?" She sighed before responding "I am preparing the spell for tonight" "you're no fun" I walked away from her and sat down next to Katherine in the couch. "So wanna tell me what that 'whole back off he's mine' thing was about?"

I didn't answer right away but then again when do I ever? "I was talking to the voices. They think Klaus is cute" Katherine giggled "well they're not wrong. He is very very fine but extremely psychotic. I'd stay away, trust me Harley. Just do the job Joker sent you here for and then go about your day" I put my knees against my chest and sighed "so what's going to happen to you Kitty Kat?" Now it was her turn to not answer right away.

Just like she did for me I waited for her to talk first. "I honestly don't know. I think he might kill me though" I sighed and threw my arms around her "I don't want you to die" she laughed sadly "neither do I" we didn't say anything else to each other but that's how we liked it. Well at least I liked it. Katherine never judged me and she didn't feel the need to fill up every moment with talking.

Just then the door opener and Katherine flashed towards it. I stood up slowly and watched as Alaric stepped in.

FUCK!

"Look who's dumb enough to come back" I dropped to the floor and hid behind the kitchen island. My heart sped up and I could have swore it grew louder because I heard it pounding in head. I held my head in my hands and started counting down from 100 "Damon would you uh like to come in?"

My heart dropped. Damon would be able to find me in 2 seconds flat. I heard Damon and Katherine fighting and he sent Alaric away. I was focusing on holding my breath and sitting still.

"Thanks Kit Kat" I heard Damon walk out. Katherine slammed the door shut and then a second later she popped her head around the corner. "So you still haven't told them huh?" I looked up at her and sighed "I think I feel guilty" Katherine gave me her hand and helped me up.

"Too bad you can't just flip a switch" I laid on top of the island and sighed "god I gotta get back to Gotham" Katherine giggled.

Katherine was making us some coffee when Klaus walked in. "Harley how many times must I tell you to not lie on the counter?" I sighed "I'm sad can't you leave me be?" "Everything ok?" Katherine asked Klaus "what have you been doing?" I watched the interaction upside as I was slowly sliding off the counter. I flipped myself over and smiled proudly.

"Making coffee for me and Harley. Do you want some?" As I was thinking of a new gymnastics move I heard Katherine groan and when I looked over Klaus was choking her. "Tell me what you've been doing?" Katherine choked out "making coffee" he let her go and she turned away from him.

I went to walk towards them and then Klaus spoke "wait". Katherine and I froze, Klaus waited a good 10 seconds before speaking again "take off your bracelet" Katherine's bracelet? Why did he want her to take it off? Katherine stared at Klaus and I watched them silently.

Despite what Aunt Jenna thought I really didn't know that much about Vampires. Katherine took her bracelet off and gave it to Klaus "now, I want you to walk over to the window and stand in the sunlight" I furrowed my brows why did he want her to go in the sun? "But I'll burn" "you don't have a choice".

I walked closer to them slowly. Harley what's going on? I'm not sure. Is Katherine going to die? I hope not she's my only real friend. Well besides my family and stuff. I was now right behind Klaus and Katherine was stopped in front of the curtains. As soon as she stepped into the sunlight she started burning.

I jumped back slightly startled and Klaus was just drinking his coffee. I went over to Katherine careful not to step into the sun. I don't know what was going on with the sun today but I didn't want ANY part in it. "That's enough" Katherine immediately ran to the corner which had no sun.

I stepped around the sun and examined Katherine. "Harley the sun won't hurt you, but I guess I was wrong" I hesitantly reached of the patch of sunlight and when I didn't burn I smiled. "Thanks Klaus I was really worried" he smiled at me and Katherine started holding her knees rocking back and forth. 

"Harley I've got a task for you" I kissed Katherine's arm and stood up. "What do you need?" He smiled and put his hands on my shoulders "I love how enthusiastic you are about everything" I giggled "it's part of my charm".

It was dark out when Klaus finally returned. "Where's Maddox?" I looked at Katherine and mouthed "who's Maddox?"  She shook her head no before answering "I don't know" Klaus walked over to the computer and put something in "what are you doing?" Katherine asked him. When he ignored her she continued pestering "where's Elena?" "I sent her off with Greta, Harley get off the counter" I slid off and sat on the floor next to him peeking at the computer.

"There was a girl screaming and withering in pain "oh cool who is she" I smiled. He looked down at me and smiled back "it's almost time" I nodded mainly because I was confused but also because we'll no it's just because I was confused.

Just then the door busted open. Klaus didn't even bother to turn around "I wasn't aware you'd been invited in" "Harley what the fuck are you doing here?" I froze I knew that voice. Damon. Damon was here.
