I could see how Brook slept in my bed for the first time. Finally, she stayed.

The night felt very different too. Not like with other girls I just slept with. It was nice having someone like Brook next to me. A girl I feel comfortable with. I held her in my arms, but my arm fell asleep. But never mind, it was worth it.

I saw Brook open her eyes slightly. She looked at me immediately. The corners of my mouth turned up as she closed her eyes again. "Why are you looking at me when I sleep?"

Her morning voice is out of this world. Because Brook already has a general, raspy but strong voice, it sounds so much better in the morning. Much hotter. "Because you look cute when you sleep."

"That's weird." I raised my left eyebrow. "Because I think you're cute?" I was confused.

"You're watching me sleeping." Okay, she must think I'm a creep. "Your sleeping position is the only weird thing." "I was cute before."

I rose easily. "You still are, you're cute, but the position," "Well, I like my sleeping position." when I could watch, Brook got up from my bed and left me alone inside. "Whatever you are happy with. Still, it's weird." She rolled her eyes and pulled her jacket over the shirt she got from me.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She's my girlfriend? I still can't believe it, even though it's been a week now.

"Where are you going?" I asked now because Brook put on her pants. She doesn't want to go now, does she? "I have to go." are you serious? I rolled my eyes and then stood up quickly, even though I wanted to take my time.

My vision goes black for a moment as I shake my head to clear it. "This is the first time you're sleeping in my bed, and you want to leave that earlier?"

She zipped up her jacket and grabbed the car keys because she came by Jade's car yesterday.

"I'd stay if I could, but I've got a job interview at a company today about the opportunity that my project gave me," she explained.

I know Brook worked hard on the whole project. I felt that by becoming the lab rat. I want her to stay and call off this interview, but I can't do that, so I walked with her downstairs to the door.

"Honestly, I thought we'd do something together." The disappointment came to me slightly. Just once I want Brook and me without thinking about the university for a whole day, just as a couple.

"I would if I could. Really." She turned to me as she stood at the door. She put her hand on my neck and pulled me down to kiss her. "I'll make up for it. I promise."

"You shouldn't lie." she raised an eyebrow. "What an insinuation." she slapped me lightly on the chest and walked over to the black car with a smile.

I watched her drive away, then I went back in. The boys were gambling in the living room. I sat down on the couch in frustration.
