BROOK
My right eye was closed while I put my left eye on the microscope to look at the virus. "Okay. Watch now." I went away from the microscope and finally left Sebastian on it after adjusting the sharpness so that you can see the virus well.
"And now?" I took the test tube next to me, with a liquid. I protected my eyes with some glasses when I put one or two drops on the test.
"Okay. Wow." "Right?" I was happy that Sebastian himself was so surprised. I never thought when I was little that I would be as interested in biology as I am today. Every time I discover something new or these ideas and problems that I get by producing new serum, as well as remedies to cure worldwide diseases.
I now admired the dissolved virus, which was killed by antibodies when Jena came to us. She pulls out the slide when I looked at the nothing. My eyes opened and looked up when my back get straight. Yes, I know what the look says from my mentor, "work on your project and don't waste materials".
"I only showed him something." the still very young woman raised her eyebrow and reached into her coat to bring out a pen.
Then she took a sheet from the table behind her and slammed it and the pen on the table in front of us. "You should focus on your project. There will be scientists who were once on Harvard."
"I already have an idea." I grabbed the pen and drew around on the white sheet, then I lifted it up to Jena. Sebastian bent forward to see what I did. "Fast blood?"
"Sebastian and I will make a serum to speed up the process of producing new blood and maybe then to produce itself away from the body." both looked at me enthusiastically. Yes, I thought so too, but after I came across a study by Doctor Vasco Seabra of Portugal, I finally saw the small possible in the big impossible.
"It sounds crazy, but this idea could completely change medicine. People suffering from anemia can get amounts of blood back through the process. It takes two months for a liter of new blood to be in the body, what if this blood is produced by itself? Through a serum that speeds up the process and maybe even produces it by yourself. It could keep people alive in operations, it could heal people who can't produce that much blood. So much can be possible." I get the study from Doctor Vasco Seabra of my backpack, which I printed out and put it in front of the noses of the two unbelievers.
"Doctor Vasco Seabra surveyed more than 500,000 people internationally. More than half of the questions lost a person due to excessive blood loss. 11% themselves have to run with machines that continue to run the blood through their bodies, due to the deficiency and small blood production. Why don't we try?" I am positively convinced that through my motivation, intelligence, and skillful knowledge of Sebastian and me, we can produce something like that.
"You sound like one of the frightened and crazy scientists." something finally came from Sebastian, although it's not exactly the reaction I wanted. "But even if the idea may be crazy, it doesn't sound impossible." Jena now looked speechless at Seb. "But it is unthinkable. Blood cannot be produced outside the body. And how are you going to test it, we won't try it on people."
