~ Branzy ~

Branzy awoke to the rising rays of the sun basking him in hues of both gold and rose; to the gentle chirping of the birds singing a melody through the snowy environment; to the warm embrace of Clown Pierce. Everything felt perfect, like nothing could quell the sense of peace that washed over him.

That was when a moment of realisation came crashing down upon him. He was snuggled up against his friend Clown Pierce! One of the most deadliest assassins that he knew had trapped him in an embrace that almost felt inimate.

Branzy's eyes blew wide open as a burning sensation began to creep up the back of his neck and across his cheeks. He, Branzy Craft, had been cuddling with Clown Pierce. He softly slapped a hand over his mouth in an effort to somehow suppress the shock that made him feel giddy as if he was flying. The butterflies had now infested his body, like a virus leeching off of it's host. He couldn't even remember what it felt like before they had arrived, forever making him feel like he was floating through the air.

What really made him nervous was the fact that Clown wasn't wearing a mask. Of course he didn't expect the man to wear it every single second of the day, but that still didn't subdue the surrealness of seeing him without it. After all, he had only started seeing Clown 's actual face after they had become friends.

His heart felt like it was on the verge of exploding right now, an eruption of sensation and emotion. He needed it to stop, or surely he would collapse from the intense feeling pulsing within him. Stretching out his arms and legs the best he could whilst in this position, Branzy tried to scoot away from Clown, however the other man just grumbled and pulled him in even closer.

Now Branzy was really blushing, the heat in his face almost unbearable. He was so close to Clown that surely he could hear the desperate thumping of his heart.

Clown's embrace felt warm and comforting.

Thump.

Branzy's breath came out in shallow gasps as he tried to regain control of his spiralling body.

Thump.

He gently tried to shake the jester awake but to no avail.

Thump.

With his eyes still shut, Clown started to smirk, wrapping his arms tighter around Branzy's torso.

ThumpThumpThumpThumpThump.

The silver haired man mentally slapped himself, that idiot was awake!

"Clown, let me go." He jokingly prolonged the 'O' sound at the end of his sentence.

Clown smirked, "Were you comfortable?"

There was no way Clown hadn't heard the loud beating of his heart by now, or atleast the embarrassment tinging his voice. "I- I'm sorry I, I didn't mean to..."

Clown loosened his grip on Branzy and shuffled away slightly. Branzy took this as an opportunity to roll over in his arms so that he could at least see the other man.

"Don't worry about it Branz I'm just messing with you, you couldn't help it." Clown smiled softly and looked deep in thought.

Branzy couldn't help but gaze at Clown's chocolate brown eyes.

Clown's eyes might not have been the colour of the ocean but Branzy was drowning in them. He might look and be really dangerous with his killer jester mask and his insane combat skills, but if you looked past this exterior, you would discover that just like everyone else he was a human being with a heart. Shamefully, Branzy had only recently realised this about the man.
