~ Branzy ~

It was a normal day, as long as you ignored the fact that it wasn't.

If there was one thing Branzy Craft was used to by now, it was surprises. He hadn't known about the nether stars, he hadn't known who Kevin and Lefu were and he certainly hadn't known that his life would turn upside down within the span of a few weeks. Yet somehow, he was surprised. Surprised wasn't even a word that properly summed it up, he was shocked, flabbergasted if you will. Here in front of him stood Clown Pierce.

He wasted no time rushing forwards to meet him. Simultaneously, both Squiddo and Ashswag hurriedly left the room. Surely this was a dream or rather a nightmare? Clown coming to haunt him, blaming Branzy for his death, forever condemning him to live with the guilt of that hot, thick, red blood staining his hands. Branzy uncertainly prodded Clown; he felt warm to the touch, and yet Branzy wasn't convinced that he wasn't hallucinating.

"I'm real Branzy."

That voice, oh how he had missed it: it was a breath of fresh air in an oxygenless room; it was his lifeline on his own deathbed; it was exhilarating. Branzy reached a shaking hand towards his mask and towards it's familiar rough feeling. His fingers slowly trailed to it's edge and pushed it gently aside. Tears started welling in Branzy's eyes as he looked into those chocolate brown, scarlet flecked orbs. He moved his hand to stroke Clown's cheek, the warm skin burning beneath his hand.

He felt real.

He sank into Clown Pierce's arms sobbing in hysteria. "How is this possible, I watched you die?" He continued to pour out his emotions while Clown further embraced him.

"I'm real Branzy, I'm alive."

"You died!" Branzy suddently pushed him away and lightly slapped him, "Don't ever do that to me again!" he shouted, his face reddening from anger, pain and relief.

"OW! Okay, I guess I do deserve that..."

"Yes, yes you do," he almost laughed in anguish, "I don't know where to start, I wouldn't have been able to cope. Clown there's something I need to tell you, I love you."

"You love me?"

"Yes, and I get it if you don't like me back, I just needed to tell you, the guilt of never confessing and then you being..." his voice trailed off, "...gone was too much to bear and-" The tears slowly beading down his face morphed into a tsunami of overwhelming feelings.

Clown placed a finger on his lips silencing him. "Shhhhhh." He pulled Branzy in closer, slowly tracing circles on the small of his back. "What if I told you I love you too."

"Really?"

Clown smirked and brushed his thumb over Branzy's cheek. "I love you too, I love you more than I would a friend," he muttered pulling him in closer. Branzy felt his breath hitch and his heart start beating so hard it was the only thing he could hear. He gazed into those chocolate brown, scarlet flecked eyes staring back at him. Oh how he had missed them. They dilated before lingering longingly on his lips. Clown leaned in closer and huskily whispered in his ear, "I really want to know what your lips taste like."

All that could be heard was their soft breathing overpowered by the sound of Branzy's hammering heart leaping out of his chest. His body felt hot, like it would explode at any moment. Branzy parted his lips, smirked back and joked, "Are we about to kiss right now?"
