~ Branzy ~
"I'm perfectly fine why do you ask?"
Branzy knew a thing or two about lying. For instance he lied to vitalasy about betraying Clown, he lied to himself about his own feelings, and right now he was lying to the man he was forever an indentured servant to.
"It's just, you seem so distant ever since we arrived back home."
Distant. That was putting it mildly. He felt numb, he felt paralysed, he felt... betrayed.
Ever since Clown had met Lefu, he had been almost ignoring Branzy, paying more attention to her than to him.

"And so you must be Branzy?"
"Yes."
"Nice to meet you," the Ravenette ran a hand through her wavy hair, "Say Clown, do you mind if I see the circus?"
Clown paused for a second before responding "Sure." He motioned for her to follow him and the two of themwalked away, leaving Branzy alone in a stunned silence. Not only was Clown suddenly being so friendly, he was leading Lefu to their home.
Watching Pitifully, he followed their shrinking figures as they got smaller and further away.
The slightest bit of relief to ebb his pain was when Clown turned around to ask Branzy if he was coming. For a moment, his heart skipped a beat before instantly being crushed again by the memory of Clown calling him a friend.
He slowly trailled behind them, following the sound of their laughter, watching what could have been him and Clown.
~ Clown ~
Clown couldn't quite work out what Lefu's deal was.
The ravenette was busy talking to him about her old server and even though he should have been paying attention, he wasn't. Instead, he was trying to work out whether or not she could be trusted. After all, she had just been talking to Vitalasy and Subz, what if she was with them now?
He glanced over at her again. She really did look like she could throw that dagger at her hip and end his life before he could raise his shield. She was tall, around his height. Actually, she looked to be exactly the same height as him. Was bringing her to their home really a good Idea? Could he eliminate her if she tried anything? Yes, he had Branzy to back him up but did Branzy really count? Of course no offense to the man.
Speaking of Branzy, Clown had found it weird that he had been walking so far behind him and Lefu, but he payed it no mind. He guessed Branzy just wanted some time to himself.
They turned the corner to be greeted by the sight of the circus. Home. Relief seeped into every muscle of his body. Atleast now he could replace his mask and maybe fix Branzy's ankle.
"Is this the circus?" Lefu asked, awe evident in her voice.
Great. He forgot she was here. How was he supposed to do all of that now? "Yeah, come inside."
They walked up the winding path that was so familiar to Clown that he could walk it with his eyes closed. He knew every single twist, every single turn, every single stone that layed across the ground. He slid the keys perfectly into the lock and twisted them, the door swinging open in welcome.
Clown shuffled to one side, holding the door open for other two. Lefu walked past him and smiled at him. Clown couldn't help but noticed the slightly strained look on her face like she was in deep contemplation. What was she thinking about? Clown brushed it off; oh well, its not like he would ever find out.
