~ Flashback (Branzy) ~
Tongue tied: Branzy tried to speak but he could feel the words catching at the back throat rendering him speechless. His amethyst eyes shone so bright that they could have outmatched the stars, his very being radiated bright, vibrant colours from the deepest parts of his soul.
Euphoria washed over him as Branzy gently ran his hand over the smooth object in Clown's hand.
"Is that... is that what I think it is?" He slowly looked up to stare at the man who was presenting it to him. He had never seen one of these before, he had never even thought he would ever get a glimpse of such a rare object. "Is this really for me?" he asked, uncertainty coating his voice.
"Yes!" Branzy could practically here the excitement in Clown's voice. "You have one and I have one, it's supposed to be like a friendship token."
Friends? Friends! Clown and him were friends. Branzy couldn't hold back the smile that was bubbling out of his mouth. "Thank you!"
The silver haired man accepted the gift. He would treasure this nether star forever, a sign of his and Clown Pierce's friendship. He vowed to himself that he would bring it with him wherever he went.
~ End of Flashback ~
They must have been walking for hours, or atleast that was what it felt like. Step after step after step, Clown and Branzy had been treking through a secluded landscape, the scenery around them slowly morphing from the bright array of colourful, autumn foliage into an icy, frigid plain. Slowly trudging through the cold environment, each of their steps etched a footprint into the soft snow beneath their feet. Tall skeletal like trees towered on either side of them, their branches devoid of leaves in this heat deprived habitat.
Branzy was bored. He found his eyes wandering over to where Clown was and his breath hitched. Snowflakes lightly dusted the top of his horns and mask. He couldn't help but think about how cute it was, the fallen snow framed his figure so perfectly in a way that Branzy could fall in love with. It wasn't the only perfect thing, he was perfect. Clown was perfect.
Branzy felt shocked with himself, had he really just though that? He managed to tear his eyes away from his friend for if he had looked a moment longer, Clown surely would have noticed the intense gaze that was directed at him.
What was he saying? Clown Pierce was just his very good friend. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Pulling out the nether star that Clown had gifted him a few weeks ago, Branzy stared intently into the iridescent crystal. Through everything he had been through recently, he had kept it with him for some reason, after all the fact that he and Clown were now friends meant a lot to him.
This nether star was a token of their friendship, as long as he had it, nothing could come between them.

The evening sun cast long creeping shadows onto the icy ground that appeared to follow you everywhere you went. The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun, the fiery star radiating a warm tinge that perfectly contrasted the frozen arctic landscape.
Slumping onto a window of the makeshift shelter he had Clown had managed to build, Branzy progressively grew more and more weary. As he gazed out into the dwindling light, he reflected on the journey thus far.
It had been a long day, a long day of trekking through mud and snow, a long day of hiking through mist and sleet, a long day of being alone with your own thoughts for company.
Now, being by one's self inside of one's head wasn't necessarily a bad thing for Branzy. It was a actually quite peaceful, after all he had no annoying people to deal with... AHEM Clown Pierce. What was that? Oh well... However, the problem Branzy had was with the type of thoughts that he had been experiencing recently.
